If you weren't aware, news of the trashing of the Star Trek Experience's Enterprise-D bridge was posted in Ten Forward a while back (
http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=371811). I'd just update that, but I only dabble in necromancy IRL.
To follow up, the restoration project is actually moving along quite well:

They also got an official guest blog put on on startrek.com:

The awesome thing (to me) about it is that a fellow Unrepentant member is part of this project. On top of being responsible for the naming of the Dervish (suck it, haters), we have a claim to fame to a freakin' Enterprise-D bridge. We rock.
Anyhoo - the main reason I'm here is of course to hit folks up for cash. The project has secured a good amount of funding over the past few months and has exceeded the goal on Kickstarter. At this point, the restoration can be completed, but more money means it gets done faster and the set parts can make appearances at more conventions and fun things go from there.
If you feel like donating something, the Kickstarter is still up here:

They're set to have full restoration completed and on display by Winter 2013. Until then, though, you can pop a squat and get your picture taken in one of the chairs if you hit up Emerald City Comic Con in March at their next appearance.

Thanks for the post, Obi! I love you, and you love my tattoo, so I guess we're even.
We are definitely still alive and kicking more than ever. If you have a few bucks, we would love to have them for a good cause. If you have zero bucks, we'd love if you liked us on Facebook, followed us on Twitter, or spread the word.
And of COURSE, come to ECCC or Megacon in March to get your picture taken (yes for free) in the chairs!
