I've replayed the "Blood of the Empire" mission today and I realized that outside that particular mission this map is no longer in the game.
While I'd certainly welcome a "rematered" version of this map so it actually makes sense again (and stops confusing the heck out of newcomers) I think the old map still looks good.
So where would you reuse it?
Personally I think it would be good for a military outpost like Ty'Gokor, which according to the IKS Gorkon novels is planetbound.
Especially with the upper level converted into a "Command Center" like it is in this mission it could probably work in such a capacity without any larger changes (except of course the battle damage from the mission).
What do you folks think: where, if at all, would you reuse it and why?:)
I would use it as part (a sub zone) of an Open World area on Qqonos (like the season 7 Romulan area) as ruins (PVE and PVP instance and Open zone map for all variations of PvE or PvP and/or combinations of the 2) with the larger zone being an 'exploration' zone except planetside instead of in space.
It didn't feel like First City, this is true. But, it DID feel like the Hall of Warriors/Great Hall. I think they should replace the current hallway with a door to the old map, and combine its functionality with that of the Barracks (i.e., BOff Requisition/Training, Fleet stuff, and the CMO).

This is a cool idea.
It would give players the impression there's a whole lot more going on underground and it would give the impression the Great Hall building is actually bigger than...a supermarket.
The old map is still in the foundry. If I were to use it, I'd use it to represent the eastern side of the great hall building, whereas the current first city map represents the western side (it's the great Hall's backyard area, as it were). As far as context, keeping the above in mind I'd use it for stuff that takes place within the guarded outer walls of the Klingon Kremlin rather than a public space (in terms of NPC activity, not player access).

(20 episodes for klingons levels 1-20)
