Super Annoying - Shuttle defaults when you open your ship menu / BO slots don't chang

Is this just me? None of BO slots change to reflect that im in a shuttle and the shuttle is the default ship that shows up when you open the menu. The button to select which ship you want to make "active" is greyed out and now there's just a radio button to the bottom left? When did this happen???
