I do like the Crit Chance and Crit Severity, but with the correct gear and team we already run above 30% crit chance. This in un-buffled! In fact with my one setup I run at a 49.4% crit chance, un-buffed!
Can you post, or PM me how you got to 49% crit chance?
I need to double check in-game, I think I've got a sitting 29% and can get to 40% buffed, but you're saying you've got 49% unbuffed? That's impressive.

Use your Omega gun as you enter to put suppressing fire on all the borg and switch to sword to make your kill. A full team using Omega Armor will also gain more Crit Chance and Crit Severity (12.5% with a full team). Furthermore, with 5 people running Full Omega sets and Gambling devices, the whole team will have 100% dodge. So half damage received for the whole team, while they are standing.
Putting that into terms of kits, Having Motion Accelerator will only boost me to get to the borg faster, allowing me to kill them faster. I have unbelievable survivability as a tac. A whole team doing this will look like Jedi Masters just invaded the borg.
The question is: Why bother playing anything that isn't tac?
Tac ships are the best in the game, if you can't tank and kill anything in game in under 30 seconds (with the exception of stupidly high level ships) you're doing something wrong
On the ground if you can't 1 shot everything (again minus bosses) you're doing something wrong
Play anything else and you're harming your team, not helping...

I have to agree with you, when it comes to the ground. I am not going to speak about space, although I think you are correct. Diminishing Armor Resistance values is slowly killing the science officer. We really don't need them that often.
Tactical officers are getting a great boost with this new kit but nothing great for Science or Engineer.

You are so wrong it's not even funny. I'm guessing you have never played anything other then tac and if you did you must have had some bad experience lol I you would like we can q up in game pve or pvp and I could in lighten you on sci/eng classes same for sci ships/crusers
-"There is no such thing as an I win button!""Um, Sir. Whats this button that says (I win) for then?"
Just want to note here, Pug01 is certainly one of the top five, and very possibly the number one, ground engineer in the game. I know for a fact that he plays a better engi than I do, and I'm no joke. He also plays an extremely good sci, and one of the most dangerous tacs in ground pvp.
That said, if you think you have something new to share, I'd like to see it in action. My ingame handle is the same as this one. PM me to arrange a 1v1, or if you have a team that uses your techniques, by all means assemble it and we can have a premade vs premade. I have one of each career, so feel free to name whichever class you would like me to face you with.

You have my handle (@Pug01). Just PM me and we can setup a Duel. The holiday season is a busy time, but I will try to be on during the evenings (-5 GMT). I am more than willing to learn new techniques or demonstrate to you what my discussion is about.
I don't PvP, nor claim any title of superiority in PvE, but I do like to learn what I can to at least be "above average" and try and hold my own. I appreciate the commentary in this thread, escpecially when it's backed by actual numbers/details (such as those provided by pug02). Good educational stuff here. Thanks guys!
I am also amused by all the gauntlets thrown. Tee-hee. Thanks for the laughs. lol The funny thing is those that ARE good simply say: "Ok, name the time/place, let's meet up and prove it." Those that are great, say that, adding: "I'm happy to learn, if you are better." Heh.

I have a suggestion...instead of continuing to toss TRIBBLE to sci and engineer class...just remove the tac class from the game...than we might see some actual team dynamics going on...ie tanking and healing...what you all think??
Honestly...when I saw the science kit, I just about uninstalled the game...granted this is only a game and is free but my god what a horrid choice...I was originally under the impression we would get to pick and choose 4 kit powers and create a new kit out of it for a certain amount of marks/dilithium per power chosen.
But I see where they went with this...it is the most underused science kit....give it a slight beefup and see if people start using those skills again....of course most of us know what this answer is...nope
But I see where they went with this...it is the most underused science kit....give it a slight beefup and see if people start using those skills again....of course most of us know what this answer is...nope
The ONLY way they're going to get me to use that useless kit is if it can one-shot the Queen. Otherwise, I'd rather jump into plasma...
When I first rolled my Sci and saw this kit I almost said what the hell the class is TRIBBLE.
However I use the medic and Physicist kits the most and never had a problem taking things out. So this will be another Kit that will just be ignored by all science characters. And my tactical captain will never see the upgrade to this kit as the KDF faction is dead in regards to the fleets
Even though this will fall on deaf ears I think Cryptic should buff up the other Sci Eng and Tac kits or exchance the xenobiologist kit upgrade to Medic or Physicist

What if you use x3 mortars and x3 turrets? Is the Enemy Neutralization still really higher? I never looked into it so was wondering if you compared basic kits or used doffs, I am not even sure what doffs work with Neutralization but I seem to recall there are some.
Not sure where you get 40dps from. In 20 seconds that?s 24 shots from 3 morters at 622.5 damage per shot. So that?s 14,940 damage in 20 seconds or 747dps without crits. Are you playing Elite as I rarely have morter miss's on Elite.
Morters have such long range they will hit far more then 1 volly and 1 group. Turrets I agree are hard to use with fast teams but morters you just dump on ground and use them for the next 3+ rooms.
you pve heros have no clue who is even posting...........this is an fes guy. the BEST PVP fleet in game. and in stf i was so used to just waiting to kill groups these guys rush in and blow everything up. if i was any of you people ide listen to what hes saying. maybe this kit sucks for his fleet but for any other fleet that cant stf for TRIBBLE might want the kit. just know its lacking.

It isn't the best kit for PvE. Enemy Neutralization is the best. You can pump out much more damage and stay mobile. There is an easy way to demonstrate this. (which I have tested). One engineer runs one kit while the other runs a different kit and we can do an STF. The final DPS makes it clear that Enemy Neutralization by far out does the damage of Fabrication Specialist. With a team that moves fast (which my fleet does) the mortars and turrets will maybe get one volley off by the time the group dies. They will be out of range for the second group and you still won't have the ability to place more down.
Just to let you know, we drop Armek in under 20 seconds, including all of his talking. Most people running Fabrication Specialist might do about 40 DPS. I can sustain 110 DPS. I am sorry, this use to be a decent kit when you could kit switch. But running with a good group, that is outputting solid DPS numbers, makes this kit pathetic. Mortars tend to miss, since the group is dead before the mortar hits.

This is the PvE forum. So the fact his fleet excels at PvP (in a game where PvP is in the backseat I might add) is a moot point. If this was the PvP forum then we'd probably be lapping at his heals, but since this is the PvE forum, those "PvE heroes" are actually the ones who have a right to talk here.
So sorry.
Also it is a well known fact you can combine the two kits with the way DOffs work. A purple explosives expert has a chance to spawn two additional mortars that will remain even after you change kits. The primary mortar (that lasts 3 minutes) will disappear, but the secondary mortars (that last a minute or two I think) will remain. The same goes for phaser burst turrets. I often will get the 3 mortar spawn and then switch to EN for maximized capability, since mortars combined with chroniton mines is not only highly entertaining but extremely effective. Especially if you root them and weapons malfunction. Then set a transphasic bomb and laugh as mortars followed by mines and bomb all go off. Will usually kill most enemies outright, and any survivors will be close enough to death that finishing them off is a trifle.
It is said the best weapon is one that is never fired. I disagree. The best weapon is one you only have to fire... once.

ummmm.......no? i dont do ground ill admit that. but i do space 24/7. i have looked at logs. seems pvp'ers do pve better then pve'ers. so the fact is simple to explain. yes hes a pvp fleet, but i went into his team for infected elite ground. his team never stops moving. thats why i said for his fleet hes better off with that kit. for pve players they are better off with turrents. but if pug said his kit will pump out better dps on ground for stf and pvp then shut up and listen to his numbers. anyone who is willing to be a bit better on ground can go to his fleet and ask a million questions. they dont mind 1 bit. heck even my fail tact officer on ground had improved. and btw suppressive fire is the best skill to have 24/7. to the op who says thier kit is best then you must suck at math more then i do. since your kit has such a hard cd while fire team has way better cd. and suppressive fire is a self buff but a team buff at the same time.
ill be honest, i do run the motar and turrent kit. when i ran with fes on ground i mind as well have taken my kit off. everytime i places my pets they did noting to help the team since these guys killed off the npc way to fast. by the time my motar shell even landed that group was dead.
the best way to explain this is cure elite space. you kirk heroes whine when a guy pops frist cube. you guys like to just sit back and wait. then when a player pops first cube u still sit back and wait fighting trash and not killing spwn spam. same difference on ground. your not fast because to be honest your dps sucks. i know mine on ground does. 100% space spec. i made a tact toon and but all my points into ground, i see a huge differrence to be honest. my passive are still space(not traited right, but its a doffing toon) but i can run into action shoot stuff and not gimp my team.
btw i want to see pve'ers do hive elite space in 10 mins. bet you cant. might be a pve game but pvp'ers know how to min/max builds. sure i died on my team 2 or 3 times that run but i was sloppy. i was the only death on my team. so again let me see pve'ers, pure pve'ers do a hive elite in 10 mins. bet you cant. btw i was part of a pug made team.

I'm not sure what's more amusing. Your terrible grammar and spelling, or your obvious blindness to the fact that maybe someone else might be correct. You do present interesting (if moot) points, and you are correct, most of the PvE players don't maximize builds. But many can switch between ships with ease and have builds that allow those ships to switch between roles.
Your obvious and complete disdain for the PvE community, I personally find offensive. You seem to think that most of them are just Kirks who zip around thinking they look cool and are completely ineffective. That is true in some cases. Some players really need to get their heads out of their rears and learn the game better. But it's not true for all PvE pleayers. For the record, I have run with exclusively PvE players who can clear an ISE in under 10 minutes, and a CSE in under 9. I have run with exclusively PvE players who can clear a KASE in 10 minutes flat, and others who can run a HSE in 10 minutes. Your awesome and amazing and obviously godly PvP fleet guys may be good, possibly the best (doubtful btw), but they aren't the only ones who know the game and know their ships.
What I also find possibly the most amusing is that you seem to think that none of the PvE community knows how to build a ship that is incredibly effective. In fact you seem to think that they don't know how to build their ships, and in most cases probably don't know anything about their ships. You seem to think that the PvE community is a bunch of whiny ninnies that don't know a holodeck from a phaser relay.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but I know of many PvE players who have learned their ships inside and out, and learned what they can do, what they can't do, what they should do, what they should only do drunk, and what they should only do stoned.
Now you are going to bring up ground. Ok, I'll bite. I have run with PvE exclusive players that can beat an IGE in under 12 minutes, boss chamber included. I have run with players who can do CGE in under 15 minutes, Armek included. I have run with players that can clear a KAGE in under 12 minutes, Tosk included. And HGE, I have run with players that can clear it in under 15 minutes, that annoyance known as the Queen included. I will admit, not everyone in the PvE community can do these things, or make these claims, but some of them can make said claims. Much of the PvE community is incompetent, but you know what, they probably enjoy the game more than you do. Much, but not all. Some of them are quite good at the game. They just choose not to PvP.
Hopefully this allows for your edification to be somewhat smoother.
It is said the best weapon is one that is never fired. I disagree. The best weapon is one you only have to fire... once.
This is the PvE forum. So the fact his fleet excels at PvP (in a game where PvP is in the backseat I might add) is a moot point.
We also excel at PvE using tactics and builds that were developed in PvP. {B) (well, they do, I usually drag my feet when they bring me along cause I'm terrible at PvE)
What broken1981 was trying to say is that an overwhelming majority of PvE players are generally terrible at this game because the PvE side of the game outside of elite STFs and elite exploration missions offer absolutely no challenge what so ever. You can tank an entire group of enemies while standing in the middle of nowhere and kill them without ever pressing anything aside from the 1 key (or spacebar in space).
Some of these terrible PvE players are intent on challenging the ideas of the people who know the game inside and out in both sides, PvE and PvP. They call them wrong, they call them idiots, they call them cheaters without backing up their claims with solid math, strategy discussions or theorizing. That is what is infuriating and that is what broken1981 was getting at with his... questionably hostile attitude.

well yes i do hate the pve guys because they always think they know what works better and claim to have better dps in pve then pvp because we spec resist. lol pottsey5g sorry i know thats a cheep shot. but this is the truth that most pve'ers dont trust what pvp'ers have to say. heck i even said i suck ground and use the turrent and motars myself dident i?
i also stated why that kit is better for most pve'ers since they SUCK in pve. its the whole reason pve guys blast the pvp guys about things like tric mine bombers. or even getting sheild regen fixed. all im saying is if pug says something is better you might want to take him on his word. i listed my experance while on a run with his group as well as he explain how his group runs it. now if i take a few guys from the elite stf channel best be sure i will run turrents drone and motars. thoes guys have no clue any ways for being part of elite lol stf channel. but if im running with pure pro ground guys im going to run a kit they ask for. but anyways not to derail this topic anymore im out.
side note and yes i down alot of pve guys in space. they cant heal dont do dps and dont want to know why thier build is so poor. they insist on being in crusiers with dbb and no heals as well as using torps when they have no turn rate. i welcome everyone to get act http://advancedcombattracker.com/download.php and here is the plugin http://hilbertguide.com/ACT.html now just go into an stf and see how badly it really is.

well not only that but cryptic just wants npc with uber hp and sheilds. the npc dont fight back. its a joke for something thats ment to be elite. they should self buff and self heal. i have a guy in my fleet that did not even know he had tact skills on his tact engy skills on his engy and sci skills on his sci. ir sci fleet, tact fleet, engy fleet. cryptic does not make an effort to teach people how to min/max builds. im still trying to juice my skill points. still trying to get the most out of my toon. atm its just better to make a fresh tact since even my passives are off. but like most people at lauch we just wanted to jump into game.
just tell me this, when is the last time you saw a tact in an oddy? sure its only pve so the guy can get away with it. but it is slowing down the run. you cant tell me hes going to have better dps then a tact in an escourt. even with his dem 3 and 2. thoes will go on cd. my rapid fire 2 and 2 and omega 3 are going to have a better uptime. even if the tact in an oddy is using an aux to bat build with just dem 3 ill still do more damage even tho hes over capping 125 wep power to keep his beams at 125 the whole time. so even tho i try to explain in a very nice way i could be put on ignore or even told i ahve no clue about this game. you guys are kind of doing the same thing to pug atm. thats why you guys should take him on his word and get an invite on his run so you can parse the logs. just these guys advice alone made my tact on ground much better and i saw just how badly of a noob i was. i enjoy ground alot more now because of this.

Yeah... his hostility is what I find to be the most exacerbating. It's completely unnecessary and actually is what is turning me against him the most. I agree with a lot of what he says, but his outright dismissal of other players is just unacceptable.
But despite most PvErs being completely and hopelessly and just utterly incompetent, there are a number that are the exact opposite, who do know what their ships can and cannot do, and excel with said ships.
I snipped your post because the terrible grammar, spelling, and sentence structure were starting to make my brain hurt. If you got rid of that annoying hostility and actually put an effort into making your posts legible, then you probably wouldn't be hitting as much resistance as you did.
Secondly, you may not believe it, but there are PvE players who can utterly smash PvP players. They just choose to stay in STFs because it's more amusing to them (no doubt this statement will result in a long rant/tirade). So as I said, don't dismiss other players outright because they choose not to PvP in a game that is not even close to PvP oriented.
(should be noted, those players I mentioned came from an almost exclusively PvP based game, myself among them, so a lot of us find PvE to be relaxing and we do this for fun, so we do PvE.)
Lastly, all these "terrible" players you were talking about. Why not oh I dunno... offer to help them improve? Instead of just bashing them and then dismissing them outright? Did that thought ever cross your mind? Or were you too busy trying to attack their flaws to see that maybe they could use help instead of harm?
-.-

better for you? this happends all the time. i offer logs and links. but dude im done with you. examples were given. guess your head is in your TRIBBLE since i called myself a noob on ground. im not the best in space but im freaking increable. on ground FES is the best. no doubt about it and anyone who wants to learn can always mail them in game. later

And the hostility continues. I'm beginning to think either you have major anger management problems, or are just being a troll. Or both. Of course I will never understand why people are hostile online, it just makes no sense. Oh wells. Anyways, that over and done with, didn't ditch this thread on your last post?
As I stated earlier, your posts brought up good points. But those were completely nullified by your hostility. After reading 3 lines into most of your posts, I didn't want to read any more of it. Because you were being so hostile and condescending, that I figured anything you had to say was jaded by this anger, so it was useless. Now if you hadn't been so hating, perhaps I would have read more willingly. As is, I saw your links, and I appreciate you putting them up there for people who need them, but tbh, most people would read your first 3 lines, and move on. Which kind of nullifies the whole point of putting up links don't you think?

Kits for upgrades need to be chosen by the average player rather then by the favorite choice of a dps maximizing minority. The average stf group ain't running through that fast that mortars are totally useless, it also depends a bit on the map.. my mortars in KAGE do some nice dmg along the way even in fast groups (due to the layout of the map), its different in IGE or CGE were i wouldn't run em either tho.
About the enemy neutralization kit outshining fabrications by a factor of almost 3 (according to someones numbers)... maybe its rather time to ask if the recent no-cooldown "feature" of transphasic bomb really is intended, cause i ain't remember reading about it in the patch notes and it kinda seems to be to good to be true too.

This has been around since the change to tactical initiative. It is the same as the Ophidian Cane setup YOU use. You know how YOU use Tactical Initiative and chain the Ophidian Cane in PvP, even through walls? This is a famous trick of Yours, so it should be familiar. Its the same principle. Using Tactical Initiative lowers the cooldown of the whole teams abilities. Of course doing this in PvP with transphasic bombs isn't smart, because of the animation lock. But it works well in PvE when you are killing a boss.
BUT bringing the topic back to the kits. Do you like the Quick Fix ability that was added to the fabrication kit, as much as you like the Motion Accelerator addition? Do you really see a use for the new Science kit? Even the new Flamethrower requires you to run up and place it fairly close to your targets since it has a limited range.
A simple way to look at this:
Has the tactical officer received a more useful ability on their new kit, compared to the other classes? And the answer in my opinion is that they have received a major improvement compared to the other classes. Therefore the imbalance.
I would have gladly taken Overwatch over Motion Accelerator, personally. Or possibly a Security Protocol kit with Battle Stategies.
But yeah, the science kit is absolutely useless. Physicist with Biofilter Sweep would have been nice. Due to my inexperience with high level engineers, I'll avoid making a suggestion for that.

And thats were YOU are all wrong, because this has absolutely nothing to do with tactical initiative.
Tactical initiative is supposed to accelerate cooldowns. But that transphasic bomb is missing any cooldown when autoexploding, totally without tactical initiative. Its not mentioned in the ability description, its not really making any sense and its not in any patch notes.
This is a famous trick of Yours, so it should be familiar.
Must be easy to make fame with you then, cause theres no trick involved just clicking tac ini.. if we talk fame here your guide about swapping 20 kits to superstack buffs on the other hand got ya some real fame throughout the community, we are all still puzzled why you ain't posting any guides anymore they were so.. awesome
BUT bringing the topic back to the kits. Do you like the Quick Fix ability that was added to the fabrication kit, as much as you like the Motion Accelerator addition?
This question sounds like theres competition between the classes.. but this is a pve forum, theres just teamplay in pve and not so much competition. Motion accelerator is an aoe buff so anyone closeby will benefit from it engineers too.. makes you get faster there to put your bomb and mines down, believe me you'll love that buff and it will increase YOUR dps as well, maybe more then that of the tac's speed buffing even.
If you woulda been around for a bit longer in the game and followed kit discussion on the forums in the past a bit you probably woulda had often seen people noting that quickfix is on a kit that barely has any fabrications to fix up - thus not making much sense.
This new engineer kit basically addresses one of the long lasting engineering issues and finally adds some sense to quickfix. Also the new turret on that kit is absolutely mega-cool, it has a buildin flamethrower.. kudos to the dev designing that new turret! You should really try it, my engineer loves it!
If theres something needing a fix here its actually plasma nade IV, its an exact copy of plasma nade III.. no new cool gfx no slight dmg upgrade.. it must be an oversight.
Even the new Flamethrower requires you to run up and place it fairly close to your targets since it has a limited range.
Not seeing much connection between kits and flamethrower here, its not any different to shotguns there and like i pointed out motion accel helps anyone, especially the engineer buddies on the mine kit.
On a related note about flamethrowers.. I somewhat hope when they fix the shooter mode issues with them that they also look into the huge FPS drop they are causing atm.

They know actually. There's been some posts down in the Tribble area of the forum about that.
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.

Can you post, or PM me how you got to 49% crit chance?
I need to double check in-game, I think I've got a sitting 29% and can get to 40% buffed, but you're saying you've got 49% unbuffed? That's impressive.
Using Melee doffs and Swords. You can get even higher using Purple Doffs.
Combining that with this method:
You tube video of Tactical Super Buff
I have the same handle in game but i'm from europe so we might have very different schedules.
God, lvl 60 CW. 17k.
You are so wrong it's not even funny. I'm guessing you have never played anything other then tac and if you did you must have had some bad experience lol I you would like we can q up in game pve or pvp and I could in lighten you on sci/eng classes same for sci ships/crusers
I will see what I can do to match up some time.
Keen.
You can find/contact me in game as @PatricianVetinari. Playing STO since Feb 2010.
The ONLY way they're going to get me to use that useless kit is if it can one-shot the Queen. Otherwise, I'd rather jump into plasma...
Which we all know you've done at least a dozen times already anyways :P
However I use the medic and Physicist kits the most and never had a problem taking things out. So this will be another Kit that will just be ignored by all science characters. And my tactical captain will never see the upgrade to this kit as the KDF faction is dead in regards to the fleets
Even though this will fall on deaf ears I think Cryptic should buff up the other Sci Eng and Tac kits or exchance the xenobiologist kit upgrade to Medic or Physicist

you pve heros have no clue who is even posting...........this is an fes guy. the BEST PVP fleet in game. and in stf i was so used to just waiting to kill groups these guys rush in and blow everything up. if i was any of you people ide listen to what hes saying. maybe this kit sucks for his fleet but for any other fleet that cant stf for TRIBBLE might want the kit. just know its lacking.
Will usually kill most enemies outright, and any survivors will be close enough to death that finishing them off is a trifle.
ummmm.......no? i dont do ground ill admit that. but i do space 24/7. i have looked at logs. seems pvp'ers do pve better then pve'ers. so the fact is simple to explain. yes hes a pvp fleet, but i went into his team for infected elite ground. his team never stops moving. thats why i said for his fleet hes better off with that kit. for pve players they are better off with turrents. but if pug said his kit will pump out better dps on ground for stf and pvp then shut up and listen to his numbers. anyone who is willing to be a bit better on ground can go to his fleet and ask a million questions. they dont mind 1 bit. heck even my fail tact officer on ground had improved. and btw suppressive fire is the best skill to have 24/7. to the op who says thier kit is best then you must suck at math more then i do. since your kit has such a hard cd while fire team has way better cd. and suppressive fire is a self buff but a team buff at the same time.
ill be honest, i do run the motar and turrent kit. when i ran with fes on ground i mind as well have taken my kit off. everytime i places my pets they did noting to help the team since these guys killed off the npc way to fast. by the time my motar shell even landed that group was dead.
the best way to explain this is cure elite space. you kirk heroes whine when a guy pops frist cube. you guys like to just sit back and wait. then when a player pops first cube u still sit back and wait fighting trash and not killing spwn spam. same difference on ground. your not fast because to be honest your dps sucks. i know mine on ground does.
That is what is infuriating and that is what broken1981 was getting at with his... questionably hostile attitude.

i also stated why that kit is better for most pve'ers since they SUCK in pve. its the whole reason pve guys blast the pvp guys about things like tric mine bombers. or even getting sheild regen fixed. all im saying is if pug says something is better you might want to take him on his word. i listed my experance while on a run with his group as well as he explain how his group runs it. now if i take a few guys from the elite stf channel best be sure i will run turrents drone and motars. thoes guys have no clue any ways for being part of elite lol stf channel. but if im running with pure pro ground guys im going to run a kit they ask for. but anyways not to derail this topic anymore im out.
side note and yes i down alot of pve guys in space. they cant heal dont do dps and dont want to know why thier build is so poor. they insist on being in crusiers with dbb and no heals as well as using torps when they have no turn rate. i welcome everyone to get act http://advancedcombattracker.com/download.php and here is the plugin http://hilbertguide.com/ACT.html now just go into an stf and see how badly it really is.
well not only that but cryptic just wants npc with uber hp and sheilds. the npc dont fight back. its a joke for something thats ment to be elite. they should self buff and self heal. i have a guy in my fleet that did not even know he had tact skills on his tact engy skills on his engy and sci skills on his sci. ir sci fleet, tact fleet, engy fleet. cryptic does not make an effort to teach people how to min/max builds. im still trying to juice my skill points. still trying to get the most out of my toon. atm its just better to make a fresh tact since even my passives are off. but like most people at lauch we just wanted to jump into game.
just tell me this, when is the last time you saw a tact in an oddy? sure its only pve so the guy can get away with it. but it is slowing down the run. you cant tell me hes going to have better dps then a tact in an escourt. even with his dem 3 and 2. thoes will go on cd. my rapid fire 2 and 2 and omega 3 are going to have a better uptime. even if the tact in an oddy is using an aux to bat build with just dem 3 ill still do more damage even tho hes over capping 125 wep power to keep his beams at 125 the whole time. so even tho i try to explain in a very nice way i could be put on ignore or even told i ahve no clue about this game. you guys are kind of doing the same thing to pug atm. thats why you guys should take him on his word and get an invite on his run so you can parse the logs. just these guys advice alone made my tact on ground much better and i saw just how badly of a noob i was. i enjoy ground alot more now because of this.
Yeah... his hostility is what I find to be the most exacerbating.
But yeah, the science kit is absolutely useless. Physicist with Biofilter Sweep would have been nice. Due to my inexperience with high level engineers, I'll avoid making a suggestion for that.

kate-wintersbite.deviantart.com/art/0x01-Treachery-293641403
And thats were YOU are all wrong, because this has absolutely nothing to do with tactical initiative.
Tactical initiative is supposed to accelerate cooldowns. But that transphasic bomb is missing any cooldown when autoexploding, totally without tactical initiative. Its not mentioned in the ability description, its not really making any sense and its not in any patch notes.
Must be easy to make fame with you then, cause theres no trick involved just clicking tac ini.. if we talk fame here your guide about swapping 20 kits to superstack buffs on the other hand got ya some real fame throughout the community, we are all still puzzled why you ain't posting any guides anymore they were so.. awesome
