Happy Thanksgiving All

I just thought I'd take this opportunity to say, to everyone at Cryptic/Perfect World and to all STO players, and all of your families, have a safe and happy Thanksgiving. And remember, don't eat too much...it's hard to captain a starship when you are half asleep after a Thanksgiving feast! Seriously though, stay safe, enjoy the time with your families, and have a great Thanksgiving!:)

    Absolutely! I feel like such an idiot for not mentioning our soldiers and veterans. Thank you. And thank all of you who have posted on this thread. This is one of the reasons I like STO so much...an absolutely great community! Thanks again!

    I would, but i'm currently grinding my face into the ground trying to get enough dilithium to afford a mkxi plasma rifle :)

    The grind will still be there when Thanksgiving is over, as well as your rifle. It's family time....trust me, I'm having to realize this too. But it's doable... :P

    That being said, I'll probably log on long enough to check my doffs--at least until after I'm done eating like a pig.

    Besides, the turkey coma makes it hard to grind.

    Well, the title pretty much says it all, but I think it would be cool to see an event in STO next year. I mean after all there are some real Trek references to the holiday:

    And not to completely steal Trekmovie.com's thunder, however they did make some good points in that even though it's an American holiday, it's one that promotes the gathering of family and the celebrations of other cultures working together, something that is very much in line with Gene Roddenberry's vision. So I ask in the tradition of celebrating such themes, that Cryptic consider a Thanksgiving Day event next year for all around the world to participate in and enjoy together!
