Uhm, yes. Yes it does. I don't know what you think a muzzle is, but trust me, the Caitians have them, by all definitions of the word.
And they certainly don't have "flat humanoid faces". Their faces are very feline in nature.
Granted, Caitian faces aren't supposed to be entirely feline in their appearance.

So yes, it turns out that they have rather flat faces all around, but they also have lion-like muzzles. If anything, the STO Caitians are more feline-like than their more realistic counter-parts, on the same scale that M'Ress is, but obviously far less stylistically cartoony as she is.
Ultimate point: Muzzles. They haz them.
And just to show I'm not a downer, it has been mentioned that we'll at some point see more hair options for Caitians, so you'll just have to be patient.
I know those little "tricks" were supposedly fixed though I don't know anyone who has used such tricks
I personally have a Fed Gorn... he's legit, he came from the Diplomacy system, as the "Foreign Exchange Officer" you get to pick when you make Ambassador (I also have Orion females on some Fed's it's interesting), I assume it's still available, even though it takes a bit to get to Tier 5 Diplomacy now, I haven't tried since the Doff system.

Just saw for the third day running a Federation Alien with trill spots, caitian tail, risan bare feet, bortasque' skirt, and orion tattered top. There is some form of command that still works, atleast up to the release of the bort skirt a couple weeks ago. Would love a chance to play with all the costumes possible.
