Now that the new season is upon us, will there be additional fleet ships to keep us...invested in upgrading our fleet bases?

Will ships like the Excelsior and Dreadnought Cruiser have a fleet version, even without their inherent abilities?

We'll be looking at what Fleet Ships we can add to the Fleet Shipyards' offerings -- I can't share any details or timeframes yet, but watch for patch notes as we'll announce additions there, if not in a Blog

For constructive feedback since the KDF ships were kit bashed so many times throughout each series and you mainly have your main selection of bops, vor'cha, negh'var, and then the 10 seconds of fame of somraw raptor some of these fleet ships should have different variants because some like the engineering style of the copy and paste of federation counter parts and some may want like the quote said KDF science ship and then some may want a more tactical approach. The best thing I can think of is putting out variants that heavier in one area than we already have like tactical and science and then add in some custom design/thoughts from ship artists on how they would percieve nausicaan, orion, lethean, gorn, etc ships to be to add on because some things they would have to make up with little or no screen time but still if it meets parameters of some of the ships that we know and love from the KDF they could be acceptable.
Although I know many KDF as well as I would love to see a Negh'Var pack like the vesta has not neccessarily the same setups but something that feels Klingon but covers all the bases.

Maybe Romulan refit Ambassador and D7's that they've stockpiled from past conflicts in the sector.
Well game wise... that would be giving fed side D7's the KDF has so I don't think that would really happen and if someone were to want one that badly they would probally just roll a KDF toon.
Kinda hoping for Fleet Scimitars... 1 million dilithium price tag!

I'd buy a Fed D-7 or K'tinga. Preferably the former.
Klingon ships are included in what we're looking at for increased Fleet Shipyard offerings.

That's what I wanted to hear, hopefully they will be Fleet versions of at least a few of the Cstore ships since currently there are none at all.

The last 8 ships designed have been Fed, each 1+ over anything the KDF have. Sorry, if I don't believe you.
And 95% the fleet ships you did offer the KDF are more expensive/ worse than their Fed counterparts.
The next ship will be a Fed, and so on....
Remember- we currently have NO fleetships that quailfy for the upgrade discount.

... fleet ships do not win the race against ships like the Armitage, Regents, Vesta's, & Lockbox ships.
Lately? How about the last year.
i just had a thought, how about additional versions of current fleet ships? like the fleet heavy cruiser having a LTC tactical to make up for no fleet excelsior. call it fleet heavy cruiser variant. would love to have maybe a negvar with an excelsior like LTC tac too. and the fleet galaxy, that desperately needs a variant with a better station setup, or at least a universal ensign station.
I edited my post as you quoted it, it seems. The last KDF specific ship was the Temporal ship in the Lock Box and Destroyer in the Lobi store, and the one before that was the Bortasqu'. I personally would love to see more KDF ships, and I know the community would as well.

Yes, I did quote you as no-one at Cryptic seems to give a d%%m about the KDF customers.
Both you and I know that you cannot equate a C-store guarantee with a Lockbox ship.
I have been playing PvP for two years, and even I can tell when something is completely wrong by releasing a ship like the Vesta to one faction.
On top of that you release consoles and abilities that are 100% designed for PvP.
What are the KDF suppose to counter a team with the "Godmode" button within reach ever sec?
Did the devs consider that there could be a chain-of-powers occurring with experienced teams???

For the Vesta, are you referring to the "perfect shield"? I feel that the Kar'Fi Carrier is actually similar with Phase Shift, except with PS, you can still fire weapons. It also has a hangar.
We had a dedicated group from the PvP community test out the Vesta and the feedback received from them influenced some of the changes that were made, but they did not feel it was not OP or could not be countered by KDF ships.

How many of those "testers" were from Fed Premades? I for one would like to know who they are and which fleets they come from. No I do not believe objectivity is achieved when the test, participants and results are kept secret from all the community.
Throughout all this testing that was going on, not a single word about the Vesta on any Tribble forum or discussion. And what about the Steam surprise. Tested? Cryptic, didn't think that in the spirit of S7, with so many peoples hopes up, 1 little KDF ship could be sprung as a surprise?!? Shocking. Absolutely Shocking.
And I was referring the AoE healing, the Offensive abilities, the Danubes, the etc. I am experienced enough to know what can be done with the Vesta. So are every single one of those mystery testers.
I am betting that the responses were not, "She a good balanced ship." It was more like, "Oh my G@d when is she being release I cannot wait to buy this...." There's an old proverb, "if the mountain won't come to Muhammad, then Muhammad must go to the mountain." That's the way of things now.
You created a Faction capable of having CC/debuff pets across all careers and classes of ship. If the devs cannot see that as ridiculously OP, they really should take a break once in a while.
I WONDER WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF YOU HAD ENERGY SIPHON CRUISERS, CARRIERS AND ESCORTS IN THE KDF?

Please enable us to buy a token with Zen to faction change a 25th Century FED to a TOS FED.
BTW it should be Fleet Assault Cruiser Refit as in a Fleet Regent not Fleet Soveriegn.
Otherwise I entirely agree with the questions, seem some obvious (to a player) gaps.
Also never mind adding ships but were did the 200,000 Fleet Credit
tier 2 shipyard Star Cruiser go? They're actually taking them away, put them back asap!
You can argue that the loby/lockbox ships are kdf ships, i guess, but i can't play the lockbox game because I am an adult.
I own all kdf cstore ships except the gurumba though.
..... im pretty sure that breaks the "No T5 Connie" rules. as giving the Exter a TMP skin would make it look like the 1701-A. AKA connie
