Is it me, or does the Galaxy class on the main STO page look a lot more detailed.

Its probably just my eyes, but the Galaxy class on the main STO page (the new Romulus art work) look more...well Galaxy class-ish. The Nacelles and deflector have a sweet glow. It may just be a Photoshop version of the game model and made to look a little better. I wonder if Cryptic will release this as a wallpaper.

    it is it's the model that sits in the ESD ship yard out of the window. if you use demo record you can see it better it's gotten moved way to the back with the excelsior

    Aah. I see. I thought It looked alot more sexier than the current in game model. Im sorta chuffed that the new Vesta class is a nice detailed in game model, and even has its own hull material. Its a shame we cant get this sort of "attention to detail" with current well know Fed ships like the Galaxy class.

    Would be sweet if cryptic would make a exclusive Galaxy hull material and bundle it with a interior pack. I would certainly pay good money for that as TNG was the Trek I grew up with. Just a thought.
