Is this the MWO forum or the STO forum?

Those that have left STO, good bye. Your final feedback about leaving the game is enough to say the least.

But there is nothing that attributes feedback about STO in statements such as "MWO has rekindled our likeness in PvP".

Forum Moderators/Admins/Devs, take heed of those that have left the game as prior warned by me. But now you guys need to cut your losses and the unnecessary feedback from those that have left your game. I'm a paying consumer of your product, and still play STO. Which includes the use of these forums. I do not enjoy logging on here reading about MWO. If I wanted to read about MWO I would be on the MWO forums.

Lock up all threads regarding MWO. It's going nowhere. Most of the content in there is spam, as it is unrelated to your product to begin with.

Thanks.

After almost 3 years of not doing squddliy doo for pvp, I suggest the mods take a note book, and consider how MWO achieves something that cryptic doesn't. Then Brandon can start camping in Geckos and Dstahls garden and scream it from the top of the roof until these guys wake up and see the light.

You know, the more I think about the OP, the angrier I get. So here comes some of that flaming that results from this type of post.

Pax, exactly who do you think you are? The new king of PvP? The new king of this subforum? Who exactly?

Everytime you post you manage to convey your deluded notions of your own self-importance. You are not the epeen wunderkid of STO. Your ideas and opinions are exactly that, your own. Everyone else has a right to their opinions, as well. Even if they don't fit into your notion of what should and shouldn't be.

Quite frankly, I was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt when my fleetmates began railing on you, but you continue down the same path and there is no longer any doubt in my mind. You really do act/portray yourself like a dictator wannabe with a god complex.

    OH boo-hoo.

I also am a paying customer of this game, an also had hopes the PvP would have a bigger role in STO. Time in game and on these forums have cured me of that delusion and I ALSO play MWO. I've learned from playing and posting, that if you don't like the content- MOVE ON.

The question is who the heck do you think you are?

For months the Pandas have ranted on this forum, bullied people on it, and finally took off. There is no other fleet in this game that comes on the forum in a collective demeanor to intimidate, and make several posts atop of one another to have their way with someone's opinion. Not one fleet.

And now, you guys are on here advertising another game. And it bothers you for me to point that fact out? I don't see TSI members doing the same for GW2 or Critz members doing the same for MWO. If you're done with the game, then move on.

Bottom line, this ain't a MWO forum.

real bottom line: it ain't your place to decide

if you have a problem with a thread/post/poster you should follow the rules and report it, no? and leave it to the mods.

I've always tried to stay civil in any discussion on these forums. In 3 years I have received 0 (zero) infractions/warnings/bans. You just TRIBBLE me off with your moral superiority complex and I've finally decided that an infraction is worth telling you how I feel. Posting about rules in a post that openly violates said rules makes you a hypocrite and neuters your credibility.

Talking about the advantages of MWO is a way of expressing dissatisfaction with the product PWE has made of STO. It is my right to do so. When did compare and contrast become a bad thing? You just seem to want everything to be all smiles and sunshine. Well some people are tired of the "coming soon" line. Cryptic has just used it to string us along for too long. We still want this game to succeed, and still want to play it. We're just tired of the lies Cryptic keeps jamming down our throats and the total lack of attention given to PvP.

    I love you guys.

Words cannot express how much I... love you guys.

With every tired bone in my captain's body, I shall express how much I... love you guys.

Even if we go off in our separate ways, I shall forever cherish the times and conversations we had.

From the rolling hills of Caustic Valley, to the very ends of New Romulus, I shall proclaim how much... I love you guys.

Because, I love you guys. I love you guys so very, very much.

In fact, I made a song called... I love you guys. It's in D minor.

    It goes something like this.

"I love you guys. I love you guys.

Especially Paxy. I love him the most."
"No, there is no real problem with P2W in STO. Obviously, if you fight against someone with an equal level of skill in the game, better equipment will give you an edge. But usually, it is the skill level that determines the outcome, not the P2W." -Logimo

This is a double edged blade.

You advertise another with superior PvP, (look I get it), but coming on here and pulling players from those that choose to stay behind is not beneficial for Cryptic/PWE or the remaining players.

Those that choose to leave will leave on their own. I feel the community doesn't need advertisements about superior pvp game play on another MMO. This is my outright opinion on how it in pacts STO pvp. It is valid feedback and is necessary to be stated on here.

It is not my place to decide. However it is my place to state my opinion about it, and how it impacts pvp game play.

In my opinion, we are in disagreement because:

    A) You decided to leave a game and feel it's right to persuade others to leave with you on this forum. I have an opinion and disagree with you on it.
    B) We are members of fleets that are often rivaling one another, or once rivaled one another, and opinions on things are swayed on wins/losses.
    C) You simply dislike me, which I do not care to entertain this notion.

In either case, this isn't a forum to adversely make another MMO appealing.

In which case, the thread is now gone. Thank you Moderators/Admins/PWE/Cryptic Staff.

Actually, I don't dislike you. When I've been on vent or ts with you it has been pleasant. You do, however, take on a much less endearing persona when you post on the forums. I don't know why that is the case, but it seems to be true. There are few who can rival the sheer arrogance of your posts sometimes. Again, I don't know why.

For instance, your "non-proliferation" treaty thread. You labeled those that disagreed with your idea as a hindrance to the growth of STO pvp. Do you think you won any friends there? No, in fact, it started the "Pandas v Pax" forum war. Not because of your idea, but because you belittled (by ignoring lessons learned by previous attempts at similar agreements) and insulted (however politely) those that didn't want to climb on board.

Do you see what I'm saying?

Letting Cryptic, players and potential players know where I believe this game is failing where others succeed is a legitimate method of expressing distaste for their handling of PvP and the PvP community. Vote with your wallets, that's what they say, and I am letting them know where my vote is currently going. I will however continue to advocate for improvements to STO PvP in the hopes of a much-desired return to the game.

If you have an account, just download the game and start! You get 4 trial ... ships ... one from each class (escort, sci vessel, cruiser, carrier, of course)

(I'm talking about STO here. Technically STO PvP is in open beta)

There isn't one set in stone yet. You see, Pirhana intends to release a product after it has been tested and tweeked instead of rushing untested, buggy content to meet an arbitrary deadline.

I'm a Paralegal by trade. My writing has that "affirming style", which often undermines my true personality which you say you witnessed. Sure, it may come off as arrogant, or even pompous. For that I am sorry, but the interpretation of what I write is hindered by personal opinions based on our real relationship, PvP. We battle it out and I hate to say it, we role play that battle onto the forums at times. We also love this game so much, that our conflicted attitudes are often rubbed off one another and depict the same thing but in hateful demeanor.

I agree letting Cryptic know about the looming threat to their revenues is a parallel understanding of mine as well. But I hate losing players to play the game with, you can ask Gallieos my disgruntlement about you guys leaving, or Delphic. There's nobody left to play against. All we have is pockets of players, and I'd hate to lose them too due to MMO advertising on STO's PvP forum. But I can't make people do any of that, what I can do is state the negative impact of it and request something be done about it. Which is what I have done.

As far as the SN Doff thread is concerned, the net result was the deterrence and awareness of not to use the doffs. It was successful, I'll take it, even though I meant well I was battered based on the aforementioned relationship of PvP spilling onto the forums. TRH was willing to go on these forums and meet your forum premade with words of their own. I told them in the interest of keeping whatever civil discussion was left, it was not in anyone's best interest. You can ask them yourself. We defend ourselves, and are staunchly protective over one another as buds just as much you guys are with one another. Which I have the utmost respect for.

But now, we're all buds regardless of what fleet affiliations we have. Because we're all victims to a poorly maintained game and made purchases that are dissatisfying to say the least.

At the same time, lol 'kidnapping' pvpers with the use of these forums to conduit an opinion about another MMO is simply destroying whatever is left. You guys have plenty of contenders in that new game.

Anyway, I hope you guys come back.
