Bridge officer costume

Simple question on a simple thing, since the s7 update we can see the visuals of the HG/M.A.C.O/Omega Force on our BOffs if they have some stuff equipped(2 pieces at least) and that's a very good thing to make'em look more badass.

When you equip some HG Mk XII to your BOff, he has the HG Elite armor visual including the helmet and that's where I want to ask my question: is there any way to remove the helmet from the visual ?(If it's the case I don't know how to proceed) but if there's no way to do that I want to ask devs the possibility to think about a simple and little option allowing us to disable/enable the helmets bound to these armors in the BOff menu.

P.S: I know there are lots of bugs/problems more important than that but I wanted to draw attention on this little point.

    The new season gave HG/M.A.C.O/Omega Force armor that have its own visual if you do enable it.

    However, those visual is default for each Mk and cannot be changed as a visual since it is not a costume.
    You cannot change it.

    I know this question was asked a while ago, but I would like to revisit the subject to see if anything has changed. As far as I know, when you put Mk XII ground sets (Omega / MACO / HG / Voth) on a boff, the helmet is always on, no option to change it. Because of this, I'm forced to use Mk XI gear on my boffs. Now with the new Voth rep, i don't have that option anymore.

    Part of the fun of STO is us working on getting the away team just how we like it....race, visuals, etc. What's the fun having an Orion Engineer or a Klingon Medic if you can't see their faces?

    Are there any plans for adjusting this in the near future?
