The "You Can't Fire Me, I Quit" Thread

mewimewi Member Posts: 0 Arc User
"Call anybody you want, they can't do anything to me, not any more, and nor can any of you. I am a human being, dammit! You can deny me all you want but you can't deny the players a good time playing!"

Because the gouge is becoming far too extreme, there seems to be no end to Cryptic's greed.

This is the I Quit thread, only say you are quitting if you plan on leaving for a very long time.

Q: Why is this in the Feedback section? A: Because if quitting players doesn't give you feedback, what will?

End of This Nonsense once and for all.

Edit: No you can't haz our stuff.

Hurt them when the feel the most....their pockets see it coming season after season...here it comes:

WE WILL LEAVE STO IF YOU DON'T FIX THE INFLATION FOR DILITHIUM.....

Yeah go ahead and close this thread...that's what you mods do instead of listening whoever pays for your bills.

All PvP and ground play have been the ugly step child of Cryptic ever since inception of this game. Now STF is added to this...Equality applied for all who do STFs (seems nice concept) but why punish those who excel better than others (i.e STF grinders and those of us who have all the MACO/OMEGA). Equality should not rule over Exceptionalim. Exceptionalism is not a disease and both should be balanced. Add to this the increasing inflation of Dilithium and what do you have...a very dissapointed group of people. The new Romulus is great to look at but why fix what is not broken....heard that before 6 times ago...why keep repeating the same mistakes over and over again. A few crying babies demanding to fix what is "not fair" at the cost of punishing the rest of us is cruel in this new added patch. Hope now they are happy with the fairness doctrine and "0" dilithium for doing STFs.
Quote me as much as you can and disagree as well but I do have my opinion and they will never take that away from me.....

    There's always SWTOR....

The sad part is that there are players who will continue to pay these insane dil fees, and will continue to buy zen by the boatloads, and as such will continue to fund this game. Cuz there are hundreds if not thousands or players out there who are willing to open their pocketbooks and pour money down the collective throats of PWE and Cryptic.

So as much as I respect the posters in this thread and where they are coming from, you guys are fighting a losing battle.

    There is an old saying.

"If you build it, they will come." Modified for this Situation: "If you make it, they will play."
It is said the best weapon is one that is never fired. I disagree. The best weapon is one you only have to fire... once. B)

Cuz those 5 other idiots are out there. For every player that is unhappy with the changes in S7, I am almost 100% sure there are 20 others who are oohing and aahing over the new sector and features. Who will pay to get ahead.

I agree. They billed me for another 3 months today. I was on the 3 month special. Wonder if I can cancel and ask for a refund since it was just done today. This no dilithium TRIBBLE really is going to hurt thier business.

Couldn't you just make your own fun and be grateful to all the idiots who continue to pay PWE for the privilege to dress up in PJs and pimp boots and operate a starship when they should never ever be allowed to use a tricycle without professional supervision?

I decided months ago that PWE would never see another cent from me. Someone needs to exact a penance on them for futzing with the IP. In a world more fair and beautiful, they would of course pay me for my participation in this travesty. While we're waiting for that world to spring into existence, I'll be happy to drain PWE's resources for my own entertainment.

It's not so bad once you expect nothing of the devs or the players. Oh, just look at the swirling colorful pixels that you can waste your time on!

No one is denying there are new suckers for every gimmick sold ;) but pointing out the damage Cryptic doesn't care about, probably wont hurt either. But if you think this short term gains methodology is going to work for Cryptic, let me point you to the global banking system.

This game will crash into the ground, and it will be just another footnote in a long list of failures. Will it still be running? Possibly, but once all the long term players leave, all you'll have is a bunch of ADD gamers that join then leave the next day, this is in essence, a disaster in the making.

Oh, I agree completely. I stopped paying for zen ages ago, after they made this game start to look too much like other money pits I have played in the past.

I just felt that I needed to point out the existence of suckers who will continue to fund this calamity of a game and make the creators think that what they're doing is working and make marketing continue to encourage this loathsome behavior.

Quit 6 months ago and never looked back. Curiosity killed the cat, so I read the new season release notes. Nope, still nuthin' worth coming back for. Missed the best part: Tribble test weekend, boo hoo, hoo. Maybe I'll check back for the Christmas event, or not.

    **** YOU leech, and no!

EDIT: I'll make sure to pass along your feedback, but as "I quit" threads are not allowed as they always turn into flame threads, I unfortunately have to close this one done. Remember, now that the game is free-to-play, feel free to stop back anytime. We hope to see you again soon! ~BranFlakes
