I saved up and recently got a mobius time ship, I'm a tac captain and just wondering what the usual build is, i am currently running a single canon galor ship.
Funnily enough this is my first venture into the escort scene and am wondering what is recommended, ive seen one thread recommending the 3 piece temporal set, but am looking for builds without these items.
well, since its mostly an escort style ship, many escort builds are viable for it.
i use the temporal set on mine, and it works pretty well, especially if you got AP cannons since the chroniton dual beam bank does AP damage.
though since you dont want the temporal set, it really depends you could get the Jem hadar set and run a polaron cannon build, or maybe even wait and go after the borg weaponset that comes out in S7.
I run 2 part omega with Maco shds
W/ full polarized descriptors DHC and turts in the rear.
I run 4 wep cons. 3 field generators 1 Borg. And then 2 netro.
It makes it extremely deadly due to the hull hit, shd cut, and eng drain.
-"There is no such thing as an I win button!""Um, Sir. Whats this button that says (I win) for then?"
It's mostly in context of using full temporal set (which I highly recommend for this ship, as the cooldown reducing ability is awesome), but you may tune it to your liking. I'll just add that I found using lt.cmdr. universal slot with engineer surprisingly useful.

I just picked one up and so far, it's:
4x Polaron DHC [Borg] Mk XII
Borg Deflector
Borg Engine
MACO Mk XII Shield
3x Polaron Turret [Borg] Mk XII
1x Mk XII Electroceramic Armor, 1x Mk XII Neutronium armor
1x Tippler Cylinder, 1x Borg Console, 2x Field Generator
4x Polaron Console
Seems to work well enough when I was testing it in CSE and KASE.
For bridge officers:
Cmdr. Tac. TT1, CSV1, CRF2, APO3
Lt. Tac. TT1, APB1
Ens. Eng. EPtS1
Lt. Cmdr. Uni (Eng.) EPtS1, RSP1, AuxtoSIF
Lt. Uni (Sci) HE1, PH2.

No science team or engineering team? Won't it leave you vulnerable against a lot of nasty stuff?
A contract is a contract...(but only between Ferengi).
Okay, after much hesitation, i purchased the 3 pieces from the Lobi store, so my build will be as follows. Bare in mind this is just an idea and i am open to change and suggestions.
