shrouding on the ground

So when will Cryptic finally really fix the shrouding on the ground? How do you defend yourself when even a Catian with tricorder scan a gamma tribble and a drone from an engineer can't see the enemy and you get one shotted? If you don't fix this, by the time the pvp changes come everyone will be done with pvp.

Listen for the whoosh whoosh of the cloaker and the sound of them buffing up. Hit:

Tac: Damage buffs (except Ambush) and suppressing fire, then tag the cloaker with a quick shot as they decloak to kill their damage. Ambush up and kill them.
Sci: All your heals, tag the cloaker with a Dampening Field if you have one available, or a quick knockback attack as they decloak (type 3 secondary, pulsewave secondary, Pounce, Telekinesis).
Engi: Reroute power to shields, tag the cloaker with Weapon Malfunction and Fuze Armor as they decloak.

Any class: hit Shard immediately as the cloaker decloaks.

Telekinesis + light saber! Done deal.

And I managed to heal/parry through an entire salvo once. Was pretty proud of myself, this little 4' midget surviving beatdown from a 8' 1980s action hero wannabe.

You do realize that they can shoot while cloaked right? And in the fast paced battle in an Assault or Arena while you're on a target, with all the noise of the weapons firing, mortars blowing, and people on voice chat, how exactly do I hear a little woosh woosh?

I'm glad you're part android and can handle all that in a split second, but for us mortal humans, it's still a bug in the game.

Well you cant shoot while cloaked, you can do it a milisecond after you decloak.

The main problem here is the oneshoot, no one can handle the cryo pulse oneshot, because no one has cold resistance, and that's ****ed

You cannot shoot from (Operative) cloak. You can shoot from Omega Distortion Field, but that will not provide point-blank invisibility even against an enemy with no stealthsight. The closest you can get with invisibility from Omega Distortion Field is about 23 meters, and then only if you are a Caitian with Gamma Tribble and Covert; and any stealthsight by the opponent will reveal you.

I agree here, cloak isnt the problem, its the compressed cryo launcher. It combined with cloak is just riddiculously op.

Not anymore.....the Season 7 patch brought perfect cloak back.
