It's one of the server hamsters' birthdays today, so we're throwing a quick little party. Maintenance should only take 30 minutes longer. Thanks for your patience.

"Critics who say that the optimistic utopia Star Trek depicted is now outmoded forget the cultural context that gave birth to it: Star Trek was not a manifestation of optimism when optimism was easy. Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them." -Thomas Marrone
So, I just came to check on the maintenance progress to find that it is the hamster's birthday. This wouldn't be the hamster that dies every time there is an extended maintenance, would it? Last week they forgot to feed every it and this week they are throwing a birthday party for it. A hamster respawn -- scary thought. But hey, it could be Hamster of Borg and that could be the next pet

It always starts off as a 30 minute delay... and by the way the last delay was 4 hours not two.
actually you aree correct, but so was I... last time the first 'extension' they announced was 2 hours, then they announced a second 2 hour extension, so I was correct that they announced 2 hours (because they did 2 hours at a time), and you are correct that it did total 4 hours.
Also I doubt it is S7 because the patch that just started loading on my computer is only 123 MB... does not look anywhere near large enough for S7 launch.

and others too numerous to name...
the one gig is the prepatch when u sign off and judging by the size of the patch today it probably gonna be season 7 in the next week and they need to say when or they will have hell to pay

Unfortunately, the hamster passed as we started singing "Happy Birthday" I don't think his little heart could take it. The bad news is we had to replace him with TacoFangs (expect your critical hits to also proc a chance for taco filling to fly out everywhere), but the good news is maintenance is almost complete

Have you played on the Server lately. I'd say with the amount of lag, that they are about 6 hamsters short of a full team.......
(Brandon making jokes - Davy's in the gutter - its a beautiful day)
No. 2+2=3 (you forgot to account for the Ferengi commission)

Awoken Dead
Now shaddup about the queues, it's a BUG
lol, ferengi need their cut too:P
ummm... so why is my launcher patching just 150 MB?
P.S.: happy birthday Unidentified Hamster
Not for me they aren't. Still getting closed for maintenance message.
so if tor is going f2p next week. It'd make sense to launch s7 then, to try and get as many new players as possible.
but then this's only my opinion and i may be wrong.
Get him a tribble for me.

That Hamster must be having one heck of a party!
It can only be Minsc's miniature giant space hamster!
Just got a 4.5 gig prepatching!!!!!!
What's happening there Brandon
S7 or not S7? That's the dilemma
