STF currency conversion, what would you do?

Would you trade it all in? Would you gamble and leave it all for Omega Marks?

No further need for Mk12 sets (space or ground), No further need for Mk12 weaps or consoles. What would you do?

    Depends. Do you need dilithium? If so, trade it in.

    If you don't need dilithium, you may as well save it for Omega Marks, although you should probably expect to be seriously undervalued if you do that.

    I don't know if you were here for the previous Dilithium Conversion. Everyone got ripped off with that one.

    Wait and see the conversion rates, it should be upon tribble one week before season 7. You might want to keep your proto techs, if the script is nice enough proto techs should have a better value than they have now.

    Bumping thread

    I haven't had chance yet to visit Tribble and see my actual conversion results ... but I have been reading many fine posts and it seems the consensus is you do well converting small amounts of STF things, but get hosed if you are converting lots of stuff.

    As you can see from my orig post table, I think I have lots of stuff (and its grown further).

    So now that many of you have direct experience on your conversion results I'm asking for your thoughts again. What would you do if you had the saved stores I do (see table above)?

    Thanks again for your time and input. If I'm lucky I hope to get to Tribble on Friday EOD.

    I promise to post my factual results once I have them so if you're curious what 1100+ EDCs and other stuff results in, we'll soon learn.

    I'm curious. What exactly are you saving all that stuff for? By the large amounts of things you have listed it would seem you have all the highest level gear you can get. 1100 EDC's are worth 22,000,000 EC's. Apparently you don't need the EC's or the dilithium because you are just sitting on this stuff and letting it collect virtual dust. Either cash it in or take the ripoff conversion rate and be that much ahead in the new grind.

    if you have another character that you like to play for the next 3 months, just keep the dilithium, and you dont need to play this char, just log in every day and refine :)

    Cash it all in for dilithium. You can always use more of that (whether if be for zen or your fleet base or equipment).

    Use the EDCs to buy borg STF set goodies and sell them to a vendor if you need the EC
    Dil the rest as the S7 exchange rate sucks donkey dong

    The problem is, you need to reach level 3 in Omega reputation before you can even CLAIM any of the rewards.

    Simple answer ... I hoard. Not one of these crazies on TV but I collect; I dont spend easily. You're right i've got the items from the STF Store i've wanted so the rest just went into savings. It was fun for awhile watching it amass.

    Honestly I also always had the hope Cryptic would come up with something to do with them ... of value. Clearly some of that hope was misplaced.

    I got access to Tribble sooner and expected. The verdict's in ... Presently my accumulated STF currencies amount to just over 600K dilithium in the STF Store. Yes, I appreciate there are other options too (Contraband to EC, ... ... ...)

    In Season 7 post conversion that equals: 8000 Omega Marks, 15 BNPs, 56K dilith.

    Everyone who suggested convert NOW! you were right!

    I appreciate that. the choice comes in where I either hand it all in now to the STF store for dilithium, or save some, spend some on BOFFs and convert EDCs to Borg gear then sell for EC. There's still time for those considerations ...

    It also appears from other conversion threads that whatever the highest conversion tier it, 15 BNP is the max award. Omega Marks and Dilithium move around above 6000 Marks, but BNPs appear to max at awarding 15. that suckx!

    I'm ignoring it. They're looking for ways to **** players and they'll find them no matter how much of our time and energy is sacrificed to them.
