I've been considering acquiring a LRSV Retrofit lately, and this is my current thought for a build. Any thoughts? I'm pretty committed to running a Polaron/Chroniton weapons layout, but I'm open to feedback and/or changing everything else. I'll be using this for PVE crowd control/general debuffing mainly. Also, all weapons are (or soon will be) Borg Mk XII, and all consoles are rare MK XI, where appropriate.
Sci Consoles: Field Generator x2, Graviton Generator x2
Bridge Officers:
Lt Tac: Beam Overload 1, Torpedo Spread 2
Lt Eng: Emergency Power to Shields 1,2
Cmd Sci: Hazard Emitters 1, Tractor Beam Repulsors 2, Energy Siphon 2, Gravity Well 3
Lt Cmd Sci: Polarize Hull 1, Tachyon Beam 2, Tyken's Rift 2
En Sci: Science Team 1
(I posted this a few days ago on the STObuilds subreddit, but haven't gotten much of a response yet, so I'm adding it here to get more exposure. Basically, I'm just looking for some general advice about this ship and my proposed build. Any help will be greatly appreciated!)
Edit: So, I'm looking at replacing the Borg Mk XII weapons with polarized disruptor weapons, and changing all tac consoles accordingly. I'll also replace the Jem'Hadar set with either the Maco or Omega sets. I haven't decided on that. However, as the polarized weapons are rather expensive on the exchange, I'll stick with the Borg polaron weapons until I can afford a full set of them.
I would consider changing the 1 BDD to 2 beam arrays with 1 torp. Also for the Lt Eng I would get EPS 1 and an ENG team 2. Other than that it looks nice.
Thanks for the reply!
By replacing the DBB with BA, wouldn't I be cutting my DPS significantly? Because I'll be using this for PVE mostly, I'll be able to keep most enemies in my front arc, so I would want to maximize my forward damage. Those were my thoughts, anyway.
And I can definitely see where you're going with ET2, I'll add that to my build.
I like the sound of the polarized disruptors, but what sort of damage do they actually do: polaron or disruptor?
Also, how easily are they acquired? Are they only available from a lockbox?

I recommend replacing the graviton pulse with Neutronium
I also recommend replacing your weapons with polarized disruptors, gets polaron proc and disruptor proc.
I also recommend changing to Quantum or Photon torps, but Chroniton is fine.
I recommend using Borg deflector and 2-piece Adapted MACO (S7, a.k.a. FED Honor guard.

I've found these weapons on the exchange, and they're pretty spendy, but they sound worth the price.
Where is your tac team?
