What is up with Slipstream Drive?

Slipstream never had a 30 second timer, then it did, then it didnt for a couple weeks, now it does again...What is up with that?

    Have you been switching between an Odyssey and another ship? The Odyssey has a 1 minute quantum slipstream and thus does not have the timer, every other ship has the 30 second timer.

    I have been switching ships. Thats probly exactly what it is. I never knew the oddy had that bonus. Thanks for the heads up!

    I think the Omega Implulse engines also have an effective cooldown of 0.

    Not quite. "Cooldown reduction" is a poor term for what that effect does. In most MMOs the term would be "cast rate" or "haste." It's not a 100% reduction of cooldown, but a 100% increase in use frequency, which is only a 50% reduction of the cooldown.

    Same thing is seen in quite a few doffs and the odyssey console set bonus.
