I was curious if anyone knew what type of weapons the Andorians used? Specifically, what weapons the Kumari Class Andorian ship used?
Most ships in Enterprise used some sort of Particle Cannons, which became obsolete when phaser-type weapons were invented before TOS. The Kumari's beams were blue.
Take a look at my Foundry missions! Conjoined, Re-emergence, and . . .

Don't think it was ever revealed. Not even Memory Alpha knows.
All we know it used somekind of Blue Particle Beam. But given their conflict with Vulcans and then them being one of the Founding worlds, it could be a type of phaser. Perhaps it could tie in why the TOS phasers were blue, that their weapon's research was far more advanced at the time.
Shran is Sinfully Sexy. I want him in our fleet. I also want an Andorian ship.
It'd be nice to see what type of spin they put on Andorian warfare since they were so advanced back in the day. Wish I knew the answer to the OP's question, though.
It is interesting that the prime universe's NX-01 Enterprise used...orange?...energy weapons but the mirror universe variant used blue beams instead (like TOS). The Andorian ships' weapons were also about the same color IIRC. Perhaps they did have phasers, or something like them, after all. Of course, then by TNG they are orange again.

I think you'r mistaking the alternate future version from E^2 (E-Square) for the one from the Mirror Universe, which fired yellow pulses.;)
And Producer Mike Sussman said that the Mirror human ships were more advanced than their counterparts due to the fact they could basically loot the tech from captured Vulcan ships.
Thanks for the replys all. Im a huge Andorian fan, and plan to get a Andorian ship when they come out. Not sure which one yet, but well see. Oh and incase anyone missed it, in the recent podcasts they did say "Ships" not ship..that put a smile on my face.
I guess ill use tetryon or my retro phasers to get the blue color.

Ohhhh, plural? This I did not know. This is... fascinating [*raises eyebrow]. Are there transcripts for the podcasts? Last I checked, there weren't. I'd love to see what was said.

HMMM, interesting.
Maybe it'll have a nice original Andorian shuttle design to go along with the ship.;)

I hope that's not what's going to be in the next set of lockboxes, but it's probably hope in vain. Andorians are a Federation member world so it'd make more sense for their ships to be direct account unlock cstore purchases.

It's in the "Priority One visits cryptic" news on the sto main news page. There is 3 parts.
I dont see a option for a written transcript. I just listened to them. And not once, but twice it was mentioned "Ships". Made me smile.
