Appease the Connie-Fans: T5-The Federation-class

I know that the list of IP ships are running dry, and that people have been begging for a T5- Constitution Class for ever now, but the powers that be seem to not wish it.

so here is my compromising solution, Bring out the
Federation Class Dreadnought You get the sleek styling of the Connie, you get a new T5 Ship.https://www.dropbox.com/s/ssvdhb1f8shpxh8/dreadnought_ortho.jpg

on a side note, I remember reading somewhere that the Connie was meant to of had saucer separation capabilities but was never used on screen due to budge issues. or something like that. would be nice to see that addressed in an in-game ship. and if you can get the Galaxy Dreadnought to saucer sep. then I'm sure we can get a Federation Class to as well ( or a Federation Class in a Connie skin for that matter )

You realise of course, that the only way to appease all the % Connie fans is, of course, a T5 Connie...

The TOS Dreadnaught would be cool but I'd still rather have a T5 Connie.

loving the dialog going on in here. and yes, I know the only true way to appease them would for a true T5 Connie, Hence my use of the phrase compromising solution. Was saying we could use it as a loop-hole to get a T5 Ship out, that with the right skin would be what a T5 Connie should be. have all the cool skins you'd see with a Federation Class, but have the option to hide the 3rd nacelle. it's a win/win for the powers that be whom seem to not like the idea of a T5 Connie and those who are dreaming of the T5 Connie.

Note, honestly, I fly Defiant class ships on almost all my toons, but I can see the appeal of such a ship in game. and As it was mentioned in STTMP and signed off on by Roddenberry, it's a valid choice.

I'm not asking that it be bumped up to the top of the list of ships, just added to the list of ships to come out. as I think it'll enrich peoples enjoyment of the game just that much more.


on a side note, saucer separation, I can take it or leave it. just figured I'd toss it out there.
