Previewing Maps

Is there anyway to allow someone to preview your map before publishing it?

None that I have seen. But publishing so you can see how it plays in a live environment is part of the process I have found.

You can also withdraw it once your testers have picked the mission up. They won't lose it.

They need to add a 'Preview Publish' option where the author can publish a mission for his own playtesting (or playtesting with friends); but NOT have it appear on the Public reviewer or main mission list until it's 'Published Normally' (or whatever Cryptic chooses to call it.)

And if they want to prevent possible abuse as they (Cryptic) might see it; they could make it so only one mission in the author's list can be in 'Preview Publish' status.

The way it is now - it's too easy to get 1 starred in the review process because another reviewer decides to play a mission while an author is still in effect play testing to find out if the mission plays as intended AFTER publishing.

That it takes 5 reviews for your mission to get actually "Live" and not "in review"
