BoFF's using STF Gear

I've noticed that when giving a BoFF a full MACO set for example that no matter what you do they will hardly fire their weapon, I know this probably has to do with the MACO Battle Rifle being part Sniper Rifle, but is there any way we could get this looked at by any chance?
Also on the note of STF gear on BoFF's could be make it possible to give them the Set looks like the MACO or Omega costume pieces? Just something minor, but I think it'd help add to the immersion while playing.
Anyone else's thoughts?

Yes, that's exactly one of the things, the others just them not using the STF weapons
