We will be bringing the Tribble server down for maintenance to apply a new update.
ST.20.20120925a.18

General:
  • Emergency Power to Shields has been removed from the category cooldown shared with Reverse Shield Polarity and Extend Shields.

    Wow, that's fast. *applauds*

    Now when could it possibly go to holodeck? (If it were a planned patch, it would get there just a couple hours later. :P This might take more time, a lot more.)
    TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class.
    Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider.
    Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.

    Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!

    Best patch notes ever? No, sorry. This should never have happened in the first place, so this is just an emergency correction for a severe mistake. However, I salute the speed of unpatching this mistake. Well done.

    By the way, thanks for the 1'000 day ship, also nicely done. :)

    As long as RSP and ES share the same cooldown, I'd say the balance was perfect.

    But yes, I certainly have respect for Borticus (and other devs that were working on it in the background). They are trying to balance at least some aspects of the game and apparently are listening to the players. It is not an easy task (noticed how the playerbase is always divided in its opinions?), and I believe every non minor change should always be tested (as in longer than a day) on Tribble for us players to have time to come up with alternatives when it comes to nerfing/boosting something.

    EDIT: Oh, and I hope this "reverse patch" gets to Holodeck before next Thursday. If not, than this very quick Tribble update does very little good in itself.

    Forgive me but i'm confused because i'm still seeing a 15 second cooldown on Reverse shield polarity if Emer power to shields is pressed and Vice versa.

    Any thoughts??

    Few! I was worried cause my account wouldn't log in on the game.... ok....... dang. wish they could do it on monday when im 2 busy to play
