B'rel + Reman set a winning combination ?

Currently I run a B'rel with disruptor cannons, plasma torp and a mix of borg + khg set pieces.
My problems start with the really slooooowwww high yield plasma torps. I checked the stats of the Reman set. One setbonus seems to increase the movement speed of high yield plasma torps. Now it would be totally awesome if my torps could be as fast as my ship.

So any experiences and opinions of this combination ? I have to say I hate the shuttle missions but if it results in a workable B'rel with good green weapons... ;)

    I will say that the 2 pc bonus to plasma torps is fun, especially after the change a while back that improved heavy plasma and tric torps reacquisition of targets. It really fun to watch it go hauling TRIBBLE across a fight after somebody because its original target got blown up.

    What I don't know is if the torp improvement scales with higher marks. So I can't advise you whether or not it's worth grinding to upgrade it.
