Gold-Pressed Latinum Stores,, Ideas

okay here are my Ideas for filling the stars with latinum :-)

First off we need a Ferengi System with high Latinum taxes to enter the system and ferengi home world,

NOW
lets talk new Latinum store items and how they can make this game more money!

The top Items
i would like to see for sale at a store on the ferengi home world would be

(1) Grand Nagus Star Carrier = 500 Million Gold-Pressed Latinum,


(2) A Home on Frenginar = Price depending on the size of your home (however this idea may take too much server room)


(3) Ferengi Missiles that can be added to any ship = 40 million Gold-Pressed Latinum,


(4) Ferengi Latinum Defence Fighter = 50 million Gold-Pressed Latinum,

(5) A Gold-Pressed Latinum coated D'kora = 200 million Gold-pressed Latinum,

I've started us off now please add your ideas,,,
also if this ever gets seen my a higher up, yes people buying keys to convert to energy to conver to Latinum WILL MAKE THE GAME MORE MONEY!!!

They could start with putting social items like the costumes in the Lobi store into the latinum store like the devs said they would after admitting that putting the Ferengi outfits in the lobi store was a misstep.

Honestly, I've wanted more GPL-based stuff in this game for a long time. At this point though, PWE would never allow anything new outside the C-store or Lobi store.

Plus, those are VERY high prices, even for GPL stuff. It's hard enough to even earn a million GPL for the Loaded accolade.

also, truthfully, i think that ALL Ferengi Items in the LOBI store should be in the GPL store instead....considering how hard it is to get a ton of GPL, i would think that the highest for say, the D'kora could be around maybe 2-3 million GPL...considereing how the useless trophy prizes are at 500k MAX GPL-.-...That and it would make people WANT to play Dabo lol...every time i go to play for a while i rarely ever see anyone there

2 problems.

1. It's not "hard" to earn GPL. Just time-consuming. According to the Wiki, Dabo pays out 1 GPL per every 1.35 ECs (long term average) plugged into it. Therefore, 1 million GPL can be attained from 1,350,000 ECs and the willingness to sit through (an average of) 4500 spins of dabo.
Besides Dabo, GPL can come to a player through DOffing. Again, start with ECs, buy commodities, sell commodities through trade for GPL.

2. Lobi is a "monetized" currency, in that the absolute only way to get lobi is through lockbox keys, which only originate on the zen (C-)store. Since zen can only be acquired through the spending of real money (even if said monetary spend was a lifetime subscription 2 years ago), somebody is "paying real money" for somebody (could be a different somebody via the exchange) to open the box and get the lobi. Unless GPL acquisition was restricted to a "RL money purchase", then GPL cannot fill the role of lobi.

Now, on that note, I remember a Dev saying that the reason a lot of the lobi store stuff isn't available in the GPL store is that there are people with millions of GPL already in their wallets, and that the (primarily EC) source of GPL, being in-game currency and not monetized, defeats the purpose of the "monetized" lobi store.

At that time, I proposed that all currently existing stocks of GPL should be converted into "other in-game currencies", aka ECs and Dilithium, at a pre-determined rate (say, 1 GPL = 1.35 ECs + 5 Refined Dilithium) to account for both the initial EC investment (via dabo) and the time spent converting said ECs into GPL. At the same time, make all the GPL DOff missions and dabo pay out only ECs. With all "in game" methods of earning GPL "removed", convert all existing lobi crystals into GPL. Current GPL vendors start selling their wares in ECs.

they could at least add the stuff that is down right cheap...like all the consumables to the gpl store.

Agreed. Doesn't need to be fancy stuff, just a means of making it worth while. It's clear that GPL has been long-dropped aside, so, may as well use it for SOMETHING.

I'd be happy just being able to reverse converting the GPL back into ECs.
