Anyone have an opinion on the Fleet Ground Weapons, Armor and Shields? They look alright but I almost feel they may be missing or rather lacking just a tad.

I refuse to use weapons that don't have at least [ACC] x 2 modifiers. How is that for an opinon on them? ;)

teleon22, lolground weapons hit automatically if the target is within range. There is no [acc].

Fleet Advanced weapons are exactly as they should be. They're on par with or better than the better end of mk12 purples and the very best mk11 purples; only a handful of mk12 purples are definitively better than them. They're worth about 12 million energy credits in comparably effective hardware.

Fleet Elite weapons are trash. Their special procs, SHeal and SDisrupt, are useless: SDisrupt does not trigger until the target is low enough on health that one or two shots would finish the job anyway, and SHeal is too rare, too unpredictable, and too small to make a meaningful difference. This means that they are essentially Advanced weapons with one less damage modifier: they are universally inferior to Advanced weapons; they are on par with the worse end of mk12 purples and the better end of mk12 blues. They're worth about 0.8 million energy credits in comparably effective hardware.

Advanced and Elite armor and shields are all useless because the armor doesn't grant both physical and energy damage resistance (meaning both Maco and Omega are independently better), because the shields don't come with a dodge modifier (meaning Omega is independently better), and because they don't come with a set bonus (meaning both Maco and Omega are superior.) The heal on Elite armor is too rare and too un-timeable to be really useful.

Thanks this helps. I figured there was already a discussion on this but couldn't find it. Thanks for the link.
