Very new and in need of help!!

I downloaded this game a week ago and right now I am getting by on the skin of my teeth. I know there are a ton of things I am missing. I just need someone to send me a friend request or a fleet? request who is patient and willing to help me...I don't even know what a fleet does and how it helps.

    They have a lot of good information, especially at beginning.

    Some of the information may be out of date, but still good info.. :D

    Fleets are essentially 'STO Clubs' within the game. A good Fleet can be a source of advice, as well as source of equipment and supplies from your fellow Fleet-mates...
