My Jackal and Targ pups have been doing that for awhile.
I'd like for them to update their coats so they look a bit more like the adults do, instead of that yellow blob of fur that is rather unflattering.
I disagree with you there. They look to "Lionish" as is, even the cubs.
They are NOT space lions. They ARE Space Bears. The STO version has been completly wrong from the start.

TAS is not canon. The only live-action on-screen appearances and descriptions lend themselves to the feline comparsion rather than the bear comparison.

In the TOS episode "Journey to Babel", Lady Amanda describes Spock's sehlat as a "teddy bear with sharp teeth."
Also the sehlat seen in the Enterprise episode "The Forge" doesn't look feline at all. It looks like a bear with long fangs.
ARGHHHHHH SO CUTE, was on ESD and noticed mine and other cubs have been given new tricks
Duck down and wag tail, back flip, beg on back legs and rolls on the spot
Its the little things that make me smile
Well, it's back as it was before, the new tricks are gone. I don't know if this is since last patch or the one before, but it's the same old boring pet now.
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

Very true, very sad that they took them away as it made them more interesting, can never have anything nice

... The Alfa Canine, they act in the manner you described, and the Sehlat cubs stopped acting that way after the Alfaa were introduced. I bet there was just a little behavior glitch that caused this.

Its NOT a dog!
As for the TOS episode you mentioned, I had forgotten about that one.
