Couple of combat questions...

1) a) Whats the best class to get the most out of a Gal R (and later a fleet Gal), the one that counters more of the Galaxy's problems, is the the Engy's captain skills for the extra survival or Tac skills for the extra damage?

b) depening on the answer to A, should I then spec my BOFFS to a defensive spec or offensive spec?

2) Now that torp boats are more viable (im thinking a canon Defiant build), whats the best way to use multiple torps...is it the same as with one i.e. wait for the right moment and hit them with HY attacks or can you leave them all on autofire and spam HY whenever its off cooldown?

1a) Getting the most out of the poor Gal-R depends on what you want to do more tank or DPS. Obviously Engineer will let you be more tankish and Tactical be more offensive.

1b) Again it depends on what YOU want to do. The Galaxy-R is known to be one of the least effective DPS cruisers along with the Star Cruiser.

    2) Torp boat is all Torpedoes not sure that is what you are referring to. As for the 3 cannons/1Torp build you learn to anticipate when a shield is going down so you can fire the torps before the shield is actually down and by the time it reaches its target, ideally, the shield is down.

not what i meant, i know the 'wait for shield to drop and hit with a HY attack', ive been playing on and off since beta

what I want to know is if this tactic changes when you have 2-4 torps loaded, do you still wait for bare hull or is it easier to have all of them on autofire?
