Who Seeks a KDF RP Fleet???

It has been a while since the faction had a KDF only RP guild/fleet. Many of the old time RPers left prior to the Klingon mass exodus.

There are a few fleets which operate in both factions, but don't really RP in the KDF.

Some fleets claim RP, but usually just hang out in bars.


I am an old school RPer (new school video gamer) and I enjoy RP with a group.

This is not a fleet advertisement (yet), but I would like to gauge how many would be interested in an RP moderate/heavy fleet.

It is Thursday 13 Sep and I will make my decision on Monday 17 Sep on whether there are enough players interested.

Time Zone you are in

How often and time periods (include whether that is your local time period or GMT. I am GMT -10 Hawaii) you play.

What day/time would be best for you to meet up on next Saturday 22 Sep in order to establish a fleet (IF we decide there are enough interested).


I'll be keeping an eye on this, but will decide on Monday.

    I might be interested, but might be better off probing in game to see if there is interest. Not everyone comes to the forums.

    In some ways I agree that we need to advertise in game as well. However, it is a very fine line between probing interest and spamming. Players don't like constant messages about fleets trying to get established.

    So, I think the first step is here on the forums, get 5 to make the fleet and then once we've got the fleet in game start PMing friends and new individuals.

    I have been looking for a decent KDF RP guild haven't had any luck. I am the same as you I am old school RP and hanging out in a bar isn't my style for RP.

    Things have still been very quiet...I wonder if rp exists in the KDF at all these days. :(

    It exists! But it is definitely rare to find someone who is willing to participate in RP lately.

    Been hoping to find a rp fleet to build up a starbase a bit, but I suppose I'm better off just finding a normal fleet.

    Interested as well, eventhough i must say that most 'o the RP i have come accross did happen in a bar and was great fun! :)

    My intent was not to judge those who enjoy Roleplaying in bar scenes. However, most of the old school roleplayers want role playing to take part in missions and more of a storyline. Not just social interactions.

    Also, many who claim RP in a bar scene have alterior motives (like making online dating) which isn't always welcomed. That is why so many are wary about it.

    Never the less, there wasn't enough interest to start a fleet up. sorry.

    Bar rp means online dating here sometimes? Wow maybe I need to get myself out to a bar! Lol kidding but I know what you mean. I did a rp with someone at Drazana (sp?) and the person went stalker in like two hours...asking for pictures and Facebook links.

    I didn't think it was so no worries there, i even agree to a point! :)

    Still from what i have read in this thread there DOES seem to be some nice people interested so...why not start something together i wonder?

    Provided that the fleet name will be somewhat "canon" like!

    Info I'd like to receive from PM

    1. Ideas for a canon fleet/guild/house name. As it is Klingon based, it would probably be a house of "***" name.

    2. The timezone you will be playing in

    and

    3. A date/time that we can all meet in order to create the fleet/guild.

    Those are my primary characters so you can find me in game.

    Ok, I've got the RP fleet started. It is the House of Aler acht'jar.

    Aler acht'jar is a Klingon folk song

    Since roleplaying and character development join together like lore keepers it is the closest thing I could find.

    So, now I need YOU roleplayers of all levels seeking content in scenes to join in. From this point on I'll be posting in the Aler acht'jar thread so meet me there.

    Also,

    PM me in game to join (alts are in the fleet thread) we can flesh out items once we gather enough interested parties.

    Also, if you want to RP the initiation into the fleet let me know a good time to do it. I live in Hawaii so it is GMT -10 or -6 EST.

    I am part 'o this group for some time now and i must say...it is the most friendly fleet i have ever been part of! :)

    Helpfull people no matter what you "problem" is, RP is great fun and we even have several plans in the making for some foundry missions that in fact tell the story from a Klingon house of old! :D
