http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sViu5rxwuxY Just the first 5 seconds of this and I wanted to rip mine ears off the sides of my head and rend them asunder. His mic is Terrible!
I made the mistake of queueing up for some fleet grind stuff solo yesterday, and I couldn't believe how bad the PvErs are at PvE. In the blockade mission all four of them would stick to a single transport they would still and let it blow up, and I had to do 90% of the work myself. Fleet alert was just as bad. They really are pathetic.
I can turn the sound off, but I can't escape those banners that continually pop-up over the action. I saw a bug get popped, but it's so hard to tell because of all the bannerspam.

I don't do much PVP, and am also annoyed by this, and also not targeting the enemy that clearly has the "Hacking" bar above it during Phase 3. Really people, it's not terribly hard for everyone to attack the same ship until it's destroyed, and *then* worry about everything else. Makes me want to /headdesk so bad. Everyone gets robbed of fleet marks because they're unable to grasp the most basic of strategies.

I don't care how long you've been playing. I only care about how you play.
And remember to follow the rules.
Commas don't give you any kind of PVP edge. They aren't stackable, affected by consoles or in any way buffable by any skills. They do not improve a PVPers game.
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] Time played in game. as of 9/12/12 (on my mains) Total 2907 hours.K'zoontite has been on active duty for 34 days, 3 hours, Bot Fly has been on active duty for 55 days, 4 hours, Poppa Capp has been on active duty for 4 days, 12 hours, B'zooka has been on active duty for 12 days, 22 hours,Tater(fed) has been on active duty for 14 days, 10 hours,

They don't really improve agro either.
Misuse, of commas, on the, other hand, DOES improve agro, apparently. Might be useful in a match against grammarians.
Edit: or just make one sound like William Shatner.

I really do have to give props to Thissler for giving excellent demonstrations as to what a well-executed BoP ambush looks like. It's a thing of beauty.
My PvP toon is Krov, of The House of Snoo. Beware of my Hegh'ta of doom.

now that i have gotten what i want from the fleet store, ktinga and vorcah, i very rarely run those fleet missions anymore because i cant stand the other users.
the transport defense is by far the worst, pve has taught them that the only way to accomplish anything is to shoot it till it dies, but thats not how you do that mission at all. i can save freighters 100% of the time by just tractor repulsering, and having TT and ES. i almost never end up killing an attacker of the transport im guarding.
yet the other 4 cant seem to do anything but group up and try to kill npcs before to much of their P2W abilities kill the transport. so many times ive literally been the only one to save any transports, its baffling how horrible some people can be in game.

Just try a pug STF on normal. No one rebalances shields. No tacs use tac team. It almost makes my lolhealbuilds viable in that I actually have to keep them alive. And somehow my broadsiding with beams deals more damage than an escort?
Ah well, at least I haven't seen too many rainbow builds. Not that it matters much.

Wait, people aren't even rebalancing shields?! How the heck did they get through the rest of the PvE stuff? Even with it being laughably easy, you do have to at least re-balance your shields.

I dunno man. But it's kinda sad.
I wish Cryptic would be more thorough with a proper tutorial for newbies.
"We really do, Everything better than PvEers. Even video."
Seriously?
You really don't, do punctuation better than PvEers. Even sixth graders.
You PvPers do seem to be really good at telling each other how great you are, thou.
On the plus side, nice videos.
Says the guy that can't even spell though all the way through.
Forums aren't formal articles. Besides, I write much better when I actually do write Articles; such as the kind you find in my Cruiser and Science ship class threads. They are rather long, windbagged informative affairs that would make J.R.R Tolkien blush at the sheer might and size of my writing peen.

You don't if you play on normal. Really, it's easy to hit stuff hard enough that it never even has a chance to hurt you. Mix in one decent power for heavy plasma torp spam (D'deridex only) and you can sleep through PvE.
I actually afk'd a D'deridex to kill it, lol. Just left my phasers on auto-fire, popped FAW and EWP, parked, and came back and it was dead.
wait, you guys balance your shields in pve? well i don't, keeps it interesting. oh but i should mention i don't balance them becase i dont even have shields equipped in non qued pve its a good way to stave off falling asleep at the keyboard.

I use a Polaron DBB, Single Cannon, and Turret Miranda with 3 Jem, BO1, EPtS1, and TSS 1. Care to bid me down?

I play split windowed and seek ....alternative entertainment while I play non qued pve.

You know its bad when you send tt to a tac escort. Mind you, its ok to fire off a tt to another healer or sci when being spiked.
Maybe that's why they haven't buffed torps.

ptfff, using station skills in pve, you are small time :P me and my type 8 have never met a story mission it couldn't get through
well i only did 2 missions in it, but i'd say thats a good sample size

That being said, any PvP video with the cliched death metal backing track is also instantly annoying. So thanks for varying the music in these videos

Now shaddup about the queues, it's a BUG

Not that the OP wasn't inductive reasoning itself, mind you, bit I'm still tempted. I could blow your ship off the map and still use commas properly.

But you are (sort of) proving my point if a PvEer has to become a PvPer in order for proper punctuation to occur.
And then you'd also have to learn how to tell everyone how much better you are than everyone else because you PvP....
Seems like a lot of work for not a lot of payoff.
R.I.P

Just wait till I eventually get my Fleet Hoh'sus. I'll be using every bit of that 4th tac console, I promise you :P
Ya sure that's not doberman ?
