This question may have been asked/answered already but, if it has, I am darned if I can find it so I'll risk asking it again.
I haven't played my KDF toon for a while but since the last maintenance I decided to play it again. I thought I'd treat myself to a targ pup while I did so but -- I can't seem to find it in the C-Store any more. I know it used to be there because I got one for my other KDF toon a while ago and I don't remember reading anything about it being taken out of the store.
So, my question is -- does anyone know if it has really gone ... or has it been moved to an online vendor or something?
Actually, I have a second question -- can anyone tell me why Cryptic seems to have an active hatred of all things KDF? They don't seem to do a damned thing to make the KDF a more playable faction. There are dramatically fewer races compared to Starfleet, and only three of them have females of the species. There are also fewer KDF ships than Starfleet has and now -- there is no targ pup, we have to share the Sehlat with the 'Fleeters.
Anyway ... I'm just curious -- and also rather disappointed at the treatment Cryptic are giving the KDF

I dont know if it helps but if you look on the exchange under Reward Packs and type in Targ, you can buy Targ Pups for 1.2mil - i dont know if its the same one as the c-store
The wiki still seems to think the Pet Targ is still available. It's either a Legacy Unlock if you owned it before, or it's in Personnel. I can see it in the website C-Store.
Thank you. Yes, I have seen them in the Exchange. Call me extravagant if you will but but I'd prefer to get mine from C-store. One reason is that I have no idea what an exchange rate between Zen and EC would be and 1.2 million EC sounds like it is more than 300 or 400 Zen (whatever the targ pups price actually was) *shrugs*
Regardless, I suppose the main point of the original question, other than curiosity, was to rant against the unfairness of the game developers arbitrary actions against the KDF. It's tantamount to mass xenocide, almost as if they want players to throw in the towel with the KDF and defect to the Federation.
I'll burn my soapbox now but, if anyone knows for sure what happened to the targ pup, I'm still curious to know?

Fair doo's, i normally look at the price of Keys when looking at that sort of thing, for 125 zen you get about 1.3mil (in a couple to three weeks time it will be nearly 2mil due to the next lock box release)
Just looked on the store tab at the top of here and i can see it under Personnel - all - 2nd row, number 3
This really depends on what Version of the Targ pup that you have...
The 'Original Version' (from the Target Retail PreOrder Vendor perk) will appear in the C-Store 'Legacy Item' tab.
The C-Store version is a individual character unlock, and has to be purchased/repurchased per character.
The random rewards (Q 1st Year Anniversary Event, and Q Winter Wonderland. Possible Lock Box rewards as well) are also individual character unlocks...
The version I am looking for is the C-Store version that cost 300 Zen. I don't have any Legacy Unlocks and I wasn't here for the 1st Year Anniversary. I realized I would have to purchase it for each character individually and that's where I am hitting a problem -- I can't find it in the C-Store in order to buy it with my second Klingon.
I'm beginning to question my sanity (what little of it I have left) now. I just checked my original Klingon and he *does* have the targ pup. I *know* I didn't pay millions from the exchange and I *know* I have no Legacy Unlocks -- so that only leaves the C-Store (Vulcan Logic *shudder*). But I can't see it in the C-Store either in-game, or the web store.
Anyway, I'll probably get a Horta instead ... I'd rather pick up bits of rock than smelly droppings any day
Thanks for your responses.

Only problem is...with all the Companions...once you buy it it gets taken off the C-Store.....happens to the tribbles also....what i dont get is that it says
"Purchase of this item is a SINGLE item unlock"
Makes me think that once you get it for once character you SoL for all the rest...same thing that happens if you accidentally discard your ToB (not that i have...but i have on other items)....and you dont want to pay or dont have 6m EC, but you have the zen to spend......what then, seems like its intentional to me, by limiting the companions to one per account to stop flooding of the exchange for zen.
I find this line of replies sadly hilarious. We put a lot of work into the massive list of fixes/changes above, and ya'll are hung up on the ability to skip our content. =p

I can understand that they don't want the exchange flooded with companion pets for huge amounts of EC but, if that *is* their fuzzy logic then, in all fairness, the companion should be 'Bound to (Faction) Account' and not 'Bound to Character' as my targ pup is. I'm not sure how the other pets are 'Bound'?
That way if I want my targ to go with Klingon #1 then it can but, if I then decide to bring #2 in, I should be able to pass the targ along. In the absence of disallowing every character from owning a particular pet at least the account would be able to own, and share, them all. Or have it that the character buys the pet already unpacked and 'Bound' to him/her. No putting them on the exchange then and you can buy one for everyone if you wish to.
Now I am irritated at the game developers who have little or no foresight and a total lack of the understanding of the term 'fairness'.

If you already unlocked it, it would be under the Legacy Tab.
