Doomsday fail even thou I destroyed it

How do I complete it? do I have take down the I.R.S Targ first?

I left the klingons & destroyed doomsday.

    I ignored the Klingons and destroyed the Doomsday Device, the mission ended fine. You could have run into one of those "mission not completing" bugs.

    Just remember forgot to destroy escort at start would that make a difference?

    It might help to see if you can collect the rewards fro the mission before you warp out of the final map.

    Umm, never mind. After heading back to space dock I re entered The system I needed and I am there. I have no idea how to delete this post or I would :(

    I had started this mission, received my klingon ship and orders, then had to log due to sleep. Now I log back in and I am in my ship again and only get the Gorn ships at the Donia System. Help please?

    What has helped me is warping out and then right back into the same sector. Most times it goes ahead and the ending text pops up. Not all the time, though. Just one more thing that needs to be worked on.

    OP: There are a few Klingon Front missions that bring up the "leave map" option before the mission actually completes so be sure that the prompt says "You have completed..." before clicking yes.

    Otherwise I figure you were hit by a bug and will sadly have to do the mission again from whatever point the game feels you need to start at.

    Probably the escort that has to be destroyed (it is a game objective). If you attack the Targ first and bring it low on HP, you can board it and forget about the escort. Since you cannot go back in mission progress, I regard this as bad mission design.
