That and the Dilithium daily missions are easier and go alot faster if you and friends plow through them.

My secret is watching tv on my laptop while I grind stf.

Just got my f2p carrier last week so I am watching the screen a little more at the moment

It's funny because I would gladly pay say 5 $ for a few pixles but for 20 $ I can go out and get full games.

Then at one point I was about to give up and just buy the last few zen I were missing but found you can only buy certain amounts, say 100 zen

Ah well but so it turned out for the better because I was so crazily proud when I got it, 100 % pure work but also for putting in so much work without going crazy

    Alts, Alts, Alts.

You can make crazy EC from the Doff missions as well.

Anyone saying 10-minutes is either exaggerating to brag, or a flat-out liar. Just travel distances involved take longer than that. Figure 30-60 minutes per toon depending on how hurried you are.

Farm contraband (Klingons especially by raiding freighters), distribute it to your other characters, log in to turn in a couple times a day. Since the nerf a little while back (where it only took 3 contraband and 2 hours) its gotten harder, but its still something well within reason to get 2k per toon per day. However on the exchange that contraband can also be 250k EC, so its a question of priorities.

The foundry button-push dailies plus the quiz, 1920 more. Find a daily near the quiz area, save yourself some more time.

Explore Strange New Worlds plus Explore B'Tran Cluster, 2880 daily. Save yourself some travel time by queue it up, wait 20 hours, go do it, queue it again immediately (since the cooldown timer starts when you first accept the mission, not finish it), do it again, collect 5760 every other day. Means you only have to travel out there every other day, or alternate toons or whatever, save some more time.

Breen dailies for another 2400, use the same 'trick the timer' setup to save the travel time.

Eta Eridani stuff (Sh'mar freighter, fix the satelites, protect the deuterium) is another 1440 takes maybe 10-15 minutes to run.

Lastly, Elite STFs pay 1100 a pop, plus salvage that can be turned in for more. Till you get burned out anyways.

Also, lots of multitasking. I read a lot of news while in sector space and load screens.

If you take the high yeald doff missions (50 - 500 Dilithium rewards, MORE if you crit success. Also the turn over Contraband (5) = 2000 Dil on completion) - and do the quick/easy dailies (SFA Midterms, Foundry Daily, 'Explore Strange New Worlds, the 3 quick Eta Eridani; and two quick Orrelius dailies (there's also 'Aid teh Dwefari' but those 3 missions take more time then the other two.) ---

You can get 8000 Raw Dilithium pretty darn quick each day without really breaking a sweat. If you have a group of Friends, or interested Fleetmates, There's a PvP mission you can get anytime that rewards 1440 Dil for 3 Arena matches; and STFs also give Dilithium on completion.

Delete your fed chars and create kdf ones. Enjoy the dailies you can complete with almost any mission.

Once your toon is geared out you can max out your dili with just a couple of Elite STF runs (turn salvage and tech into dili) and foundry daily. Lots of alts is also a big plus.

Protect the deuterium is not a dilith mission- but 10 computer parts later you're offered a mission that IS. This is a BONUS mission like turning in contraband that buys me some time off from below missions 'for good behavior'.

1-1.5 hours is realistic per toon as the KDF equivilent to B'Tran is 'path of the warrior', 5 missions all over the pi canus sector worth about 4k if done right (bout half an hour). The deferi dailies, trailus and sh'mar are my daily speed run: 20 minutes total, and if those and the daily 3 don't pop my 8k nut there's always another tour of alpha/bravo sorte or an 'explore X sector' mission trio.

It gives you 480 dil unless they nerfed the hell out of that too recently.

I'm certain it isn't a dilith reward (KDF side). I gives you loot, 3 surplus deuterium cans and up to 4 computer parts. When 10 computer parts are reached (about 3-5 runs) you get offered 'salvage dispute' mission, good for about 2k dilith.

Dilithium is a player driven economy... so asking this question is like Pepsi asking Coke " Hey what's your recipe?"

Might want to check again. Just did it on my KDF sci. Received 480 dilithium and deuterium.

    What quiz?

In the Academy areas of your faction, there should be a Loresinger (KDF) or a "Midterm test" (Starfleet). For KDF, it's the NPC near the center of the main academy arena area and the Starfleet NPC is behind a desk in a building outside the main Academy building.

You can do an "Explore Strange New Worlds" daily in B'tran combined with the 2 B'tran exploration missions that you get from the Ferengi in Battle Fleet Omega for a 2-in-1 daily that gives you 2880 dilithium. Just be sure that you have all 3 missions active or else you won't get the double reward.

17 Character * Investigate Officer Reports Daily 1440 = 24,480 Dilithium in 1 hou, which equals 154 Zen
when I do that for 30 days = 4620 Zen in a month.
    ...
thank you crashed Dil Exchange. :)

Don't worry, people, always underestimate the time needed to do these things.

And the other thing, 8k dilithium is nothing, compared to the price of dilithium store stuff.

I doubt all these take up only 5 minutes of your time. it's probably around an hour, or at least 40 minutes.

I normally Do Tralus, Starfleet Academy Quizs and the Defari Dailies. But where dio I find this Shmar one has I've never come across it?

Also grinding doff missions may be slow but you can get a couple of hundred from them as well.
Finally STF's and Mu Events also give you a couple of hundred hear and there
and finally the dilithium mine near Bajor offers a daily as well but to get the most of that it's best to due it during the event

Theres the ones I use I normally only have one fed and KDF but also multiple characters doing the contraband farming it always recommended as well

To clarify on the Alhena/Protect Deuturium daily - it nets you 480 dilithium the first time you do it, then after that you don't get any dilithium from it until you hit level 50. The same is true of the Aid the Deferi daily though most feds are already at 50 by the time they reach that mission and so don't ever notice.

TY, I KNEW I wasn't imagining no dilith award, thats why I didn't recheck the payout after making lvl50.
