After 2 years of loyal Service to the first fleet i joined(GleiseCorporation), i have decided to resign my position as a fleet Leader. I managed to work my way from a Private to a Fleet Leader and made alot of good friends on the Way. I have departed the fleet leaving them in better stead then when i arrived but alas the fleet remains a core group of casual players (myself included). I no longer feel my resources can be of any great use to my former fleet as they simply don't need them.
So:
Im a casual player who can help contribute to fleet resources over time. Im LTS, yet dont really desire to use my monthly ZEN, so that could be used towards a starbase somewhere. I enjoy to play the exchange regularly and as a result have many resources available that i feel are currently not really serving there purpose (and i dont really need the EC to warrant selling them).
I dont mind an occasional PVP or PVE, but dont consider much for "being to clan raids on time". I work. Sorry. I play when and where i can if i can. Which is probably why i enjoy RP'ing as a fleet Quartermaster/Merchant. I have a small but reliable group of trade partners from other alliances and consider that external Alliances are vital to good trade alliances. I might not have alot in lump sums i can contribute but i can contribute steadily over time to fleet pool resources.
I am not looking for a Fleet ship. I have Several Cruiser-retro/SoaPaulo/etc.. In my arsenal and my Science retro is still my preferred ship. I have at least 60+ players behind me that will vouch for me and im looking for a new hangar dock to call home.
As there are a myriad of fleets out there and to be honest, living in a casual player bubble, im not entirely sure where to begin looking. But any recommendations for a fleet that is fairly active, casual/relaxed and in need of a Fleet Quatermaster/Merchant?
Are there bigger fleets than the 232nd, absolutely. So what you're not really saying is what you want from the fleet itself. Want a casual, no pressure, family friendly fleet, come check the 232nd Division, SCE.
I'm the Fleet Admiral for The Galactic Guard and I'd like to invite you to consider us for your next fleet. We formed a couple of months ago with a handful of players and are currently running the Tier 2 upgrade projects for our starbase.
Our members are casual players who are on when their schedule and lives permit, with most people on in the evenings. Most of our membership is in the United States; we do have a member in Australia, and would certainly like to grow our global footprint. The fleet currently membership in an alliance of other small fleets which we use for networking purposes. Your network connections could potentially enhance the experience to the benefit of everyone involved.
Most of our members are PvE players with some STF and the occasional bout of PvP thrown in to change things up. We also tend to band together for the "Fleet Mark Power Hour" so we can rack up Fleet Marks which we always seem to be in need of.
As our fleet grows there will be a need for a quartermaster and I would like to discuss with you how that position would work, based on your experience.
I invite you to send me an in-game e-mail to @bryguy3k at your convenience. Perhaps we can work out an arrangement where you join The Galactic Guard with an alt on a trial basis to check us out? If you decide we are a good fit, great we'd welcome you with open arms, otherwise no harm done.
We have a recruitment thread in this forum as well. Also you can check out our fleet website at tgg.guildlaunch.com
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Brian Benziger

We're extremely small, still working on just Tier I, and have a long way to go, but we're also laid back and casual about it, so no pressure.
