Science Console Dilema!

Ok, I just hit 40 so I cant use a field generator yet....but even when I can equip it, I wont have the resources to load up on them.

In a BoP tac build...are there any other viable consoles to toss in there until I can get set up with them?

    Shield Emitter Amplifiers or Emitter Arrays.

    That's what I normally use. I favour emitter arrays more, unless you're using a shield with high regeneration where a Shield Emitter Amplifier will make a substantial difference or a dedicated science vessel like the Gorn ships or the feddie science ships.
