Whats the difference between doff grinders?

There's the one by Lt Ferra. But the other species specific doff contacts also do this. Dilithium costs are different, so is there any advantage of one over the other?

I didn't notice there's a difference in Dilithium. I wonder whether this applies to the KDF side, too.

Interesting I never used the race ones because I thought they where the same the one standing by ferra, wonder if maybe they give better odd of getting a doff from that race or something.

the human one near ferra gives a random fed race, the tellarite, vulcan and andorian personnel officers guarantee the race of the received doff.

The one by the Lt has a small chance of awarding some unigue races such as caitian and fed klingons. Nothing to terribly special about that other than if you want said more uncommon doff races.

If you care about such things... some races give certain traits more often... Vulcans are more likely to have logical... Tellerites Stubborn ect.

Ah, ok. So if I don't really care about traits/races and such, I'll stick with the general (cheaper) grinder. Thanks.

I use the general one because I like racial diversity. Deltans are VERY useful to have and there's not many ways to get them. There's other examples, but you get the idea.
