Needing help with Saturday's Child beacon mission

I've get pass the Birds of Prey Okay.

But I can't get past 2nd Beacon.

I'm using an tactical vessel from Commander level.

Should I be going straight for them or should I say at a distance. It's fire missles then I'm going to zero. I can progress any further been at it 3 hours now.

Can't get past mogai escort. Once it fires it torpedos I'm done for any way to block those?

    Doesn't matter decided to skip it's unplayable. They made it unbeatable.

    The second beacon is against the Mogai escort, isn't it? You can try to shoot down the torpedoes or use an aoe like torpedo spread or cannon: scatter volley.

    If you think that's tough, wait until the third beacon with the D'deridex. ;)

    I honestly don't think any of the PVE story mission could possibly get any easier save having someone else do it for you... but if you ever have trouble just grab a friend or random stranger... all those missions are balanced against 1 player if you bring in 2 you can faceroll it

    Had 1 last try at it & just beat it bearly. {I've completed the mission!} Guess it bit of luck & press key as quick you can.

    How do you get someone else to come in a mission with you?

    Yeah, switch targets to the torpedo and shoot it down. Or hit Fire at Will and hope that shoots it down. Or just activate Tac Team and Brace for Impact and ignore the torp.

    Couldn't see a fire at will button.

    fire at will is a Tactical bridge officer skill...
