OK, I am sure that there a billion posts like this, but I was curious about ways to improve my ship build as I have recently started to take part in STF missions.
I am a Level 50 Tactical Bajoran.
My ship is an Excelsior Refit with the following set up:
I am currently using the Borg Set for Shields, Deflector and Engines, though I do have the M.A.C.O. Engine Set (Mk XI).
Weapons
Fore: 3 x AP Cannon Mk XI (Purple) CrtH, Dmgx2; Quantum Torpedo CtrDx2, Dmg
Aft: 4 x AP Turret Mk XI (Purple) CrtD, Acc, Dmg
Consoles
Eng: Borg, Neutronium Armour x 2 Mk XI (Blue), Emergency Force Field XII (Purple)
Sci: Field Generator XI (Blue) x 2
Tac: AP Mat XI (Blue) x 3
BOffs
LTCMDR Tac: Jem'Hadar with Tactical Team I, Cannon Rapid Fire II, Torpedo Spread III
CMDR Eng: Borg Liberated: Emergency Power to Weapons I, Emergency Power to Shields II, Directed Energy Modulation II, Auxiliary Power to Structural III
LT Eng: Human: Emergency Power to Shields I, Rotate Shield Frequency II
ENS Eng: Human: Engineering Team I
LT Sci: Borg Liberated: Science Team I, Hazard Emitters II
DOffs
Dylrene (+10% against Borg in Space)
Conn Officer for reduced time for Tact Team and Buff
Technician for reduced Boff recharge time
Astrometrics for reduced Transwarp recharge times
Nurse to increasing crew recovery if below 75%
Am I missing anything blindingly obvious? And are there any ways I can improve this setup. Your comments would be much appreciated.
Borg shields are not good. Put MACO elite shields instead.
For your eng. commander I suggest: Emg. power to weps. II and Eng. Team III. Or Emg. power to shields II or III would be good.

Thanks, I have yet to get any Elite MACO kit, but I am slowly working my way through the STFs with increasingly better skills. So far, at least, I have not proved to be a burden. I think thoughtful play and my use of team healing packs seems to have helped.
And thanks for your comment on the Engineering skills, I will take that under advisement.
You might also want to checkout the Federation Shipyard section of the forum. That's where people generally talk/discuss Ship builds and there's probably a few Excelsior threads in there.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

You may want to check a few of these for accuracy. CRF1 is a Lt skill (not 2) and surely you mean Reverse Shield Polarity I for Lt. Eng. Running Emergency Power to Aux 1 would boost your healing w. Hazard Emitters, Sci Team and Aux2SIF.

I believe the reduced recharge time from Technicians only activates upon the use of Aux2Bat and you aren't running Aux2Bat. Also, who is Dylrene? Seems like a good Doff to have and a search of the Wiki turned up 0 results.

You are quite right, those were typos.
It is CRF I and RSP I - the joys of typing whilst on the phone. The Dylrene, should have read Dlyrene, the Tholian DOff.
You were right about the Technician, I have replaced him with a Development Lab Scientist with reduced time for Science Team and Buff.
Thank you, very helpful, I will look over these. As I say, I am sure that this is the billionth time this may have come up. But at least the odds of getting feedback are better than my, rather frankly, dreadful luck in ever getting a rare ship dropped from a Lock Box!
Thank you to all who have replied so far, I do appreciate it.

I hear the 3-peice Borg set (Deflector, Engines, Assimilated Module) with the M.A.C.O. Shields is the best combo.
