Have the Elite STF's been recently tweaked?

I have no idea what's going on but recently it seems like the Borg are able to do a LOT more damage than normal. Could be lag I suppose, but I have a pretty darn good connection through out and even on the worst heavy fleet actions with the screen full of mobs, I can still see just about everything going on though it makes my SLI 560TIs cry...

Before this week, I've never had a Raptor been able to drop my tactical refit escort with MACO XII in 2 hits when I'm at 100% shields and hull (41081 points). (hull plating and shield efficiency maxed)

Been seeing this a lot lately, not just with myself. Have had a few people complaining that the Borg are hitting a LOT harder than normal.

Elite STFs should return to what it was pre-Season 6 (minus the invisible torpedoes), and be renamed for "Advanced" difficulty. The post-Season 6 STFs should be the new "Elite".

well part of it is that in a recent patch they beefed up the plasma weapons. Which is great if you outfit your ship with plasma. Which is bad if you fight the Borg, who happen to use a lot of plasma weapons (with a side of Anti-proton).

Anywho, I've noticed the extra damage on both Space and Ground.....

Damage does seem a lot higer. On ground I lost track of how often me and team mates got 1 shotted. Which is not normal.

The improvement was to the damage from the plasma fire proc, not to the actual base damage of the weapon.

Shouldn't cause more one shotting.

Being one shotted is mainly caused by the spike damage of critical hits dealt by these mobs.

The way these crits are calculated for mobs needs to be adjusted imo.

High yield torpedo hits are okay I guess, since you can shot them down, but those normal Plasma Torpedos that hit for 30.000 to 50.000 are just a joke.

dmg is ~the same like the last 3 months i have played,

only some small upgrades happend that some ships get adittional skill like the nevh gar ships in cure get a isometric charge skill. and it really can 1 shot a player.

the other weapons still hit not really hard like in the past.

the dmg from bops raptors spheres and co looks like always.

30-50k is nothin. i once took a hit for 250k through a full shield facing and full hull, so the torp actually did 2.5million, its just 90% of that hit shields.

First, to clear up any confusion, when any weapon hits a normal shield facing (non resilient shield) 90% is done to the shield, and 10% of the damage hits the hull. Therefore, a weapon that does 1K damage through shields actually did 10k damage, its just 90% was done to shields. Second, if you haven't gotten hit by the kind of sh*t I have, then either you're really lucky, or you know something I don't.
