Ok the new ship is is out, but it has no interior what so ever. So why is it that Lock box/ lobi ships have custom interiors, but new Zstore ships like the Regent don't have one at all?
Cryptic you really should be spending more time creating custom interiors for ships people actually buy from the Z-store instead of interiors for lock box/lobi ships people have a luck of the draw of ever owning.
Probably because the interiors seem to be low-priority and an afterthought. The only time we have gotten a custom bridge (not even whole interior) on a C-Store ship was for the flagships.
On the other hand, the Lock box ships require you to buy master keys and I'm willing to bet that people spend alot more money on lock box ships than C-Store ships. So the lock box ships are slightly shinier.
The other thing that it lets them do is charge you twice. The ones that want to RP and use the interior can, and the ones that don't spend less money.
It isn't really a new ship. It's just a modification of an existing ship. The only reason this wasn't labeled a skin and sold for less was the console and BOff setup.

Liiiiiike most of the C-Store ships are.
We're still waiting for a full galaxy interior........
There are so many bridges that need to be added before this. Atrox, D'Kyr and the Gorn, Orion, and Nausicaan ships need to have an appropriate bridge. The Regent is a standard Federation ship so it doesn't require a unique bridge or interior.
If it has no interior, I would not touch the thing. I can live with a standard ship interior, though, and I would think others could too.
The previous custom interiors (TOS, Defiant) were part of themed bundles. Not included with the ship. You might as well be resigned to the idea that future custom interiors are also going to be in themed bundles.
The lockbox ships basically have a custom bridge, nothing else custom, and some of them don't have any more interior than that.

more likely because the ship skins were taken out of the c-store you now get the skins when buying new ships.

No Custom interior. Every ship has access to every standard bridge pack.
