Wich Ship can equip cannons?

Hello, i am a little confused about wich ships can equip cannons and wich ones can not.
I speak in general, not just DC or DHC, i also mean single ones and stuff, can somebody please post a list or something?, or maybe point me to where i can find this information?.

    Single cannons can be mounted on any kind of ship.

    Dual Cannons and Dual Heavy Cannons can only be mounted on escorts.

    Like kamiyama317 said, all escorts can, but also all full carriers can. (full meaning that it has 2 hangers.) Galaxy-X can and that should be it for FED. Also a lot of the KDF can, but I am no expert in that side of play.

    all escorts can and the Caitian Carrier (at least i think it can, but why would you its so slow in turning its not worth it lol) and the Heavy Escort Carrier (dual and heavy dual cannons are a HUGE DPS factor :D) can equip cannons up to the quad cannon from the c-store ship (forget which one it is) and the Galaxy-X (only cruiser that can use cannons)

    Definat gives the quad.

    Also, would everyone stop saying that carriers should not use cannons? I use cannons on my carrier and find that they are the best weapons for it. if you have the Atrox then fine, you can have your opinion and I will not argue with you about it. But, if you are one those people who have never used it but think they know everything about then be quiet.

    Nearly any Klingon ship can equip dual and dual heavy cannons. ALL escorts on the Federation side, along with the Galaxy-X and Atrox Carrier.

    Among the Lockbox ships, I believe the Tholian Recluse Carrier can, the Jem'hader Attack Ship can, and the D'kora can.

    Federation side:

    All escorts
    The Atrox carrier
    The Galaxy-X dreadnought cruiser
    The Armitage

    KDF side:

    Pretty much any ship I think.

    For both sides, the Jem'hadar attack ship, D'kora, and maybe Orb weaver can. Any this just applies for DC and DHC. Single cannons can go on any ship.

    To add to this list, any Cruiser can equip Dual Cannons, (but not Dual Heavy Cannons) ...
