Right just been playing Infected space on elite and wtf normally i can get through it within 20-35 min and the last match was going on 1 hour 20 min and the borg cube was still at 100% we would get the cube down to 60% then it would ONE shot kill us all which really annoys me then the next minute the cube is back at 100% and the team didnt stand a chance this happend a good 10 - 15 times i have never been killed so much on a borg mission like a was on that one. whats changed as my ship has the same setup like it did yesterday and i got through the same map within 20 min

Odd... I ran it last night and the cube never did that. It could be a bug?

I think you should tell us your ship + equipment.

If I may offer the thought.. ISE should usually take no more than 12-15 minutes for an average team. If they have adjusted something slightly, AND your team had other problems...

The suggestion of the other poster to help review the gear involved, is a good starting point.

Agreed. It makes a huge difference what profession you are in, which boff skills you have, what ship you fly, and what equiptment you use.

It may have also been bad luck with the group. Yesterday I did an elite run and somebody was stammering the whole time about how Cryptic had made it harder, was breaking the game again, Gozer is a punk, blah blah.

The thing is, a little over an hour before, I was with a group that did it in 10 minutes. Plus, I haven't seen anything in the patch notes about changes to STFs.

I can relate to that problem. That happened to me too. I would circle and strafe the cube and get some good damage done to it, and then I find myself dead by an invisible torpedo. And when I look, nearly all of my teamates are dead as well except for one that had just spawned. And while I'm waiting for my 120 second respawn timer to end, the cube instantaneously refills it's health AND shields. So, yea, I can relate to that.

rear 3 x [Antiproton Turret Mk X [Acc] [CrtH] [Borg]

    borg shield

was using a [Deflector Array Mk XI] but now have the borg deflector now

engineering console 3 x [Console - Engineering - Neutronium Alloy Mk XI]

science console - [Console - Universal - Subspace Jumper] and [Console - Science - Graviton Generator Mk XII]

tactical console 4 x [Console - Tactical - Antiproton Mag Regulator Mk XI]

Why do you have a graviton generator? I'm assuming you have tractor beam or repulsor in the skills you didn't list?

Also, I'd be wary about running 4x DHCs, largely due to the power drain. Recommend you switch out for a quantum torp and get high-yield 1 or 2.

Everything else looks passable, especially with those three neutronium alloys. Maybe it was just a fluke run :/

Borg Shield + no Field Generator consoles means you were going in without a whole lot of shield capacity. The regen isn't all that good because even post critical hit nerf the Borg do too much spike damage. You need capacity or resistance, and you can still get the two and three piece Borg set bonuses if you get the Assimilated Universal Console from the mission "Assimilated" without having to use the Borg Shield.

Get the MACO shield if you have the Tech/EDC (even a Mk X one) or one of the Covariants with Plasma Resist you can get from the STF store with Salvage. The one with [pla*][cap]x2 is the one I'd recommend. I would recommend that you get at least one Field Gen to boost your shield capacity.

I'm not saying the Borg definitely will never one (or two) shot you ever again, but changing your shield would make you a good deal less squishy.

Can't really explain why it was much worse on that run than the previous runs though.

*This may be still showing as [Ap] (antiproton resistance) when it actually means [pla] (plasma resistance), I haven't checked it lately.

to your mainquestion infected is still same easy like always nothing is changend the only think ?what happend is you get some other players with low shilds that says anyone dies fast and cube not goes down.

but most times you get overpowerd players what handle the mission quite easy.

you get your answer from anyone other try to get so much shild capacity like posible , your shild is your lifegaranty, and in a fragile escort is much more importend.

for myself i will chouse the patrol escort it looks like te best fed escort, if i have read it right it have 4 eng consoles so you can put in 4x armor consoles thats also gives you alot stay alive take low dmg ability.;)

Replace the graviton generator with the Borg Console, and get the MACO shields, and you'll have much better survivability.

But as for the OP, no idea. I do far have not seen a recent change to difficulties in any of the STFs.

Sounds like you just had an off day. Sooner or later, everyone does. Had it occurred a second or third time or if there were more than one player achieving the exact same results with a completely different setup and team, then it might be possible they did something to adjust the Cube.
