Weapons not firing - Shield distribution always firing/not firing

I posted this in bugs and will here as well, please comment there so this can get resolved. It's the little things that are useful, but bugged that really make this game annoying. Like the old saying, "Don't hate the messenger, hate the message." It's the same with this TRIBBLE. It's not intended but the usefulness is too useful to overlook.
After a match this evening where apparently PSW knocked out bobtheyanks weapons (all but aft,) I was looking at the frap and I had my shield distribution was stuck.
I had no intention of doing such things. It's a newly leveled toon. It compliments a team and I happened to queue for some pugging. I'm not here to indulge the masses or change my intended build. This **** happens to me all the time on my bops and when it does I just relog to fix it.
The fact is, PSW is a good counter to ablative, extends, tractors and evasiving escorts if you're quick enough. It's use, while bugged ATM has a viable use in the game. The UI issues surrounding it doesn't negate it's usefulness. So if I offend you with it's use, so be it.
However it's not my fault there is a bug that has been around since before Season 6 that PWE has failed to fix. More importantly, the pet tractor spam, ablative TRIBBLE, and extend spam has made it a very viable power. The unintended effects aren't intended. For that, I am sorry but given the nature and uses of the power, it's use is non-negotiable.
With that said, PWE knowing what they know, they need to fix it's use so it's not a issue. Hence I am posting this here and in PVP.

PS. When pugging I will try and limit the use of the power so it's not to offend anyone. However I will not run SS because I think unconfused enemies are more enjoyable to fight. FBP used to be a power I enjoyed while pugging, but since it was broke with TSS I haven't realy used it and frankly I really don't care to be a killer sci. I look to support a team not myself. Kthx

They already did... Fix has been on Tribble for almost a week now. Count on it to be included in an upcoming patch, and then to return in two months time.

There was a seperate thread about this... I think it the problem was caused by stuns (not only PSW) going off during the activation sequence of a power/weapon.
That's good, hopefully people can stop with the QQ over the ability. With all the **** spamming PVP it's one thing that is required. Hopefully the fix they did doesn't break 1000 other things.

Was it your intent to be funny? Really c'mon. Should have just posted this:
"I will not run SS because blah blah ....enjoyable to fight WHEN THEY HAZ NO WEAPONS!"
Or really just not posted at all. If it doesn't bother you to use it then effing use it and stfu.
If it bothers you that other people don't like when you use it you can still just stfu.
So please if you're that assured of the righteousness of your actions what do you need here?
Certainly my intent was to be funny. However since everyone is a critic, I guess I got two thumbs down.
Anyway as mentioned, I won't use it pugging and I will probably just stay clear of that toon until the patch is up since apparently it's offensive to use PSW to break extends and tractors from da-noobs.
But hey, I'm not here to be a ****. I just want to pug and have fun. My intent isn't to make others gameplay unfun or bugged. Take my comments as you will. I certainly enjoy being tractored 90% of matches and pretty much not being able to kill chained ES ships, short of a nice crit. That is my ideal gameplay.
The point was to add some light to the subject not be a d-bird. I have my opinions and while you may think I should stfu, they are valid arguments. My understanding was the disable wasn't absolute, or at least that was my understanding. I guess the memo didn't make it to my desk. More so, the build out is similar to others who frequent PVP. No one jumped their grill over it, but I guess I'm just a newb.
To you Sir, my apology for offending you. And bob too. I have never had a issue with either of you, and have enjoyed many games pugging. It's a newly leveled toon and I was just trying to enjoy the game like everyone else. There is a difference between intentional and unintentional.

Re-logging isn't always the most appealing choice when tanking Klingons and healing teammates...
Na the bug is TRIBBLE and Cryptic better have this one sorted this week.... cause I understand where nixus is coming from as well... some teams are nice and heavy in the extends... and every pug you get into anymore seems to have 2-3 escort carriers running dumb advanced danubes. Shock... is pretty much the only reliable counter to all the extends... and it is a good way to deal with the dumb pets that like to Cycle tractor you. (thanks for that nerf there Craptic)
