It has nothing to do with Drozana. It could happen anywhere, even on ESD. I'm not saying everyone should accept this, I'm just saying we can't do anything about it but staying calm and relaxed. And again, that's why there is an ignore option and a profanity filter. You may even report this player to a GM if you have time to waste.

It happens alot more in Drozana than anywhere else. I can safely say that, as I haunt ESD, and K7 as my toons primary residences.

Most of the time I do ignore the player. I still might have to put up with him following me around various instances though. Until I run off to Kerrat. That seems to be bug repellent for the most part for that kind of person.

Do I approve of the Dentists's tactics? If their aim really is to troll the E Rpers, like it has been alleged, I really can't say it bothers me any. If people can tell me to suck it up and just ignore the player, the rpers etc can do the same.

Alright, how about ME? I do not RP or ERP, I am standing at the bar idling or playing Dabo and get harassed by these people, when I ask them politely to stop, they start doing it even more. These players do not care about the rules, they are specifically setting out to ruin other players gameplay, it should be stopped.

simply ignore them...even report them if you like. then open the Dabo window and play Dabo...the window blocks the entire screen anyway.

the sooner you start to ignore them...the sooner they leave. atleast in my experiance.

Indeed, I do report them, after asking them politely to stop. Dabo blocks the screen but not the noise. I should not have to change one setting on my system because of other peoples play, once I do that is harassment. It should not be allowed to continue.

Okay, what part of "do not instigate" do you not understand? You specifically labeled anyone who PVPs as a crowd, same with anyone who associates with Starfleet Dental. You claim to be stalked and the like.

If you weren't so persistent in being a nail in everyone's foot, maybe not as much people would dislike you? I honestly questioned if you were a troll. I now realize you aren't, but something much worse.

As far as stalking goes, when another player is bothered by the fun Dental is having and offers to pay anyone through PayPal to find their addresses and names, I find that Federal-level threats. Proposing a way to find someone's information is a violation in not just Cryptic and PWE's rules, but various federal and international laws. It's serious business.

With that said, you, Sollvax, need to check yourself before you wreck yourself. Don't want to be apart of the problem? Don't act like you need to take a stand. Starfleet Dental is not your government, they are not your parents, they are a real dental studio. If you have a problem with that, then simply leave the computer and seek emotional help.

This is when children and young adults forget what is reality and what isn't, and then someone ends up getting shot.

So in all honesty, and behalf of my fellow acquaintances at Starfleet Dental, keep this civil before PWE bans all of us. :)

    How about instance limiting

1 an instance only for Lifetime members and Gold members Everything fully enabled

2 An instance only for Free players NOTHING enabled (no social items no weapons)

3 a Secure area for Roleplayers with a Live full time moderator

4 an "Adult " instance strictly over 21s as above

5 a "dentist" instance (all spam systems active and only place you can go if you have a chat ban)

6 mission instance (all chats and special effects disabled)

I would like to cast a vote for this

It does however impact my experience when someone doesn't take no for an answer.

Now if only you were playing a Saurian or other non-mammalian race at the time, this story would be the best STO anecdote ever.

And now I'm going to have to go to Drozana station and see if anyone will harass or proposition me.

She was wearing a Starfleet uniform (DS9) in science blue and was not on a table

I have also seen you party popper someone for ten solid minutes for saying "Hi Dave"

You don't have to look up skirts in STO, though, you see there panties as they're beaming in, at least I see my Andorian tac Lt. Commander's every time I beam in somewhere.

Also, this is my first MMO, so, is this common for there to be factions of RPers vs. PVPers vs. ERPERS vs. whoever else there is out there? I should get my Research Lab Assistant DOFFs to perform one of those Longitudinal Studies on the Socio-dynamics of the Playerbase of STO; that should be worth a good deal of Science XP.

Why is it that Cryptic and PW allow this harassment and trolling to continue by certain trolling fleets on Drozana Station and other social zones?
I along with many other gold members have paid a lot of money through subscriptions and the c-store to support this game though the years. Yet the Devs are continuing to allowing trolls to make enjoying the game impossible.
I along with many others will not invest any more money in this game until the GM's that are suppose to Police this type of behavior actually do their jobs and end all this harassment of players.

Drozana is a rough place. The Federation's hold, is tenous there, at best. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. It's an election year. Write your congressman. Not sure what else to tell you.

A frontier station managed by Ferengi a hotbed of harassment, sexual or otherwise? Perish the thought!

many mmo'S have dedicated servers for RP, PVP, PVE...STO does not...

frankly i don't know actually what the problem here is...happened to me too...i ignored the guy...case closed. why so many people here still complain about it doesn't reach me.
Bunch of divas that have problems to find the ignore/report button to deal with it.

Hi I'm Kurr. You've probably met me in Drozana, as I was espousing the virtues of Fire Safety and Dental Hygiene, and advising everyone in the general vicinity of the dangers of Orionian Gingivitis (it causes a severe loss of skin pigmentation -- that's why all those Orion ladies are so pale!) while simultaneously bouncing tribbles off of your forehead.

I don't have anything particularly salient to add to this discussion that hasn't already been said, so I just wanted to remind you that STARFLEET DENTAL IS FOR THE CHILDREN. STARFLEET DENTAL TEACHES THE CHILDREN. ABOUT FIRE SAFETY AND DENTAL HYGIENE. That's all.

    I love you.

The ignore button is great for chat issues, but when they are following players around with fire extinguishers and party poppers, this cannot be ignored, they are asked to stop, repeatedly, and do not, therefore they are reported. But it continues. This is what needs to be fixed. Having the /ignore function completely remove the ignored player from my screen would resolve the issue. It would also resolve their issues with ERP or RP players, although /ignore as it is now should fix that issue because it is only in chat anyway.

Not at all. Fire safety is everyone's responsibility, and we couldn't be happier if everyone in Drozana took a proactive approach to stopping preventable fires.

Dental procedures use flammable gasses and power tools. Accordingly, all of us have a collective responsibility towards minimising the risks inherent in good dental hygiene. We train rigorously and conduct regular fire drills to keep the fleet sharp and alert.

Remember everyone, it's easier to stop a fire before it starts.

Or you could flush every toilet on the station at the same time, effectively bursting the plumbing and making the entire Drozana station higgledy-piggledy!'

This is the future. Cost cutting measures ended up with the Fire Department being absorbed by the larger Dental Department. Also, this is a game, not reality.

Are you saying that your dentists office doesn't have a Fire Extinguisher in it and that your dentist is not trained in the use of a Fire Extinguisher? Are you saying that real dentists do not know how to have fun? I'm not sure what you're trying to say here.

    What are you fighting for?!
