Trespassing in Sirius, What's the Point?

I reached Pirate status today. Out of curiosity I poked my head into Sirius space. Much to my amusement, the Klingon Incursion zones were friendly and the cargo ships were enemy.

Could it be I have a chance at real piracy in this game or random world PvP? This must be it! Shooting with a pretence!

....Nope. I get to trade with enemy cargo ships...and going into the Klingon Attack instances was fruitless. What the actual f#ck is the point?

the point bieng, (im guessing your a klingon) of going into sirius sector using diplomatic immunity (the only way for a ship to gain access to the other factions home sector) is for duty officer missions, klingons will have duty officer missions in sirius sector they cant get anywhere else, and vice versa for fed players in klingon home sector, thats all its useless for, (unless the bug that allows either faction to beam to the opposite factions home base and kill personell pop's it's head up again) XD

so yeah to clarify, using diplomatic immunity to enter the enemy factions home sector is for duty officer missions

That bug may be in hiding but there is another haxploit that lets you get into ESD as a Klink and let me tell you, those security escorts hit hard...:D

Back on topic, before season 5 there were plans for open pvp raids on civilian shipping, KDF would attack and Feds would defend and I'm guessing Sirius sector would have had a few. But aside from doffing there isn't really much to it other that stalking those lil Mirandas in a big KDF warship.

It's all a missed opportunity of expanding the game and flaring up the Federation - Klingon War up some more and make it more enticing.

Its also a useful short cut if you want to get from the Beta Urase sector block to somewhere else.

For My daily doff run, I normally transwarp to Beta Urase, then circle west round the sectors ending in the Sirius sector, then Transwarp home.

That gets me a good crack at most missions. And as there's nothing worth doing in the north of the galaxy, it also misses out allot of useless flying about.

Plus you get some cool missions in Sirius.

Plus one day, I have hope the KDF will get organised and take over an entire Sirius instance, by locking out Fed chars using the raiding party.

The Burn Sol movement starts here.

All true warriors of the Klingon Empire, go to Sirius sector, and park your ships at Sol. No Federation ship should be able to leave the orbit of ESD without seeing the might of KDF ships on all sides. Let the Federation know we will no longer stand idly by while they get priority content. Yes, we're a minority, but we WILL NOT be silent.

Any KDF with the ability to give Raiding Party, pass it to any KDF you see without it. We need to cross the Sirius borders like a relentless red tide, and every ship, be it a Commander-level BoP or a mighty Bortasqu can make a difference.

I was wondering this myself from the diplomatic point of view. Yeah the transwarp was nice, but it's not all that useful some times. Going to klingon space would be a lot more of an accomplishment if i actually got to do something diplomatic, or at least more than sending Doffs to do something.

Hmm, yes, spoken like a true Klingon warrior with thickened cranial ridges protecting a few pounds of fat and mixed with rage and self pity, sauteed in blood wine!

What shall we do there, oh great Battle Master? Our mighty fleets gathered on the doorstep of our enemy's stronghold? Broadcast feeble cries of outrage over all subspace channels while their pretty little toy ships glide safely by? Counting coup as ancient Earther clans once did is a hollow meaningless gesture indeed. Hollow, devoid of Honor or Glory.

In the heart of their decadence they have the technology to render our greatest vessels impotent my Honored Lords. In the stillness of your hearts as you contemplate the path of True Honor you know that. In the name of Kahless, whose face we are not worthy enough to look upon, we beseech you... Stay your hand from this pointless folly!

The Earther P'tahk and their puppet regime of Federation worlds give lip service to peaceful co-existence and diplomacy while their Starfleet war machine rolls on across the boarders of the Neutral Zone and beyond to erect listening posts and colonies, competing with our Brothers and Sisters for the resources we need to survive! Inexcusable! Unforgivable!

But in doing so they expose their own throats! Do you not see the dark irony of it all my Lords? Sol IS already burning and their world's shall too, in due time. Their reach simply exceeds their grasp. They flit about the galaxy engaged in so-called humanitarian efforts or exploring but their core systems are left unguarded. Now is the time to strike at their empty hearts. Take your mighty fleets of warriors from Houses great and small and reap what they have already sown and left neglected. Take their well fed colonists and refugees from their soft beds and press them into your service. Plant your flags on the unexplored worlds they once thought tucked safely away. Exploit the vastness of their resources. Take all you can carry and burn the rest. That will be our true message of outrage, and a warning of things yet to come!

When you grow weary of the hunt and your hearts are filled with songs of Glory and Conquest once again return to your Father's First City or take respite at the base in the Neutral Zone to find us waiting to sing those songs with you. Your humble servants, Brothers & Sisters in struggle if not Blood, the Empire's Vassal Protectorates.

Yours faithfully, in humble service to the Empire.

You can go those sectors mainly for the "Prisoner Exchange" doff missions, they usually tend to pop up in the home sectors. Plus they usually reward at least green or blue doffs with an occasional purple if you're lucky.

Another thing is if you want to get 100% completion of the Colonial doff chains you have to go through em as well.

It's a glorified shortcut. Another wasted opportunity to make something fun and different. You know... Hey I achieved something here now I can enter into Deep Space Encounter and actually fight the enemy faction or something like that.

    Sigh

They said once they had plans for the empire to give the ability too atack transports and that feds could join in to stop you from doing so, that was the point but thanks to lot off stuff a lot get cancelled and just ignored after stahl left and when he came back their was notthing he could do to inplement it because he gave up his chair.
So no love for the klingons

Another plan could be get in contact with all mighty klingon brothers organize it like this.
Every fleet will go to an different server with his fleet and stand on Risa beach so no one is able to stand on that beach whahahah.

No im joking but they could indeed make something so that we can have some fun too.

Yeah, but then they stopped letting us shotgun the locals off the cliffs. It was fun to have an RPer challenge me to a dual, and playing king of the hill w/his ship's captain's chair.

If they want PVP, then they should let the KDF waltz in to the Fed sectors and start raising hell. Planetary conquest/destruction sounds good to me. Forget Doff missions, we're coming to kick the Feds out. It IS the Klingon way.
A half faction is no faction at all.

    1. Vacations on Risa
    2. Prisoner Exchange.
    3. Explore the cluster there for more colonial missions.
    4. Talk s*** at the feds.

I parked my Vor'Cha directly over Earth in sector space then went to have dinner.

A bunch of Mirandas and a Meowcarrier came over to gawk for 5 minutes straight before cautiously moving away.

I was sitting literally directly over Earth and not one Federation ship challenged me lol.
