OK whats with all this long time offline stuff. 3 times in a few weeks, not looking good. i don't know what all these people are complaining about, most stuff works fine. PvP mode is stupid anyway PvE is much better. I am just tired of STO been offline for 3-5hours for maintanance ...AGAIN!!

It is completely and utterly game breaking to anyone that doesn't use/like free cam.
I hate free cam. Can't stand it, was mildly annoyed when this bug appeared. But I don't think you understand what "game breaking" means. Are you able to log in? Are you able to remain in game without it crashing or logging you out without warning? Does the game lock up on you? The game is not "broken". It's a bug, and speaking as someone who refuses to fly her ship while the free cam bug exists, a very minor bug at worst. A small challenge at best.
Well, yes. Things shooting me stop menus opening by targetting them again. The esc key deselects target on first press and then opens menu on second. I am in australia, by the second keypress getting to the server, i've already retargetted something due to latency - so the menu never opens. The options map icon is also mostly completely unresponsive in battle.
Then I finally get into the menu and spend 30 seconds changing the setting back, only to have it begin again 30-60 seconds later. I did not pay cryptic/pwe to go through menus.
i havnt come across this bug yet and yes this is a major bug the fact that settings are not being remembered is a big probelm
it Is Not At All Minor. The People That It Effects Can't Play.
A Combadge Or Tailor Graphical Glitch (you Can Still Play The Game), Or A Single Mission Bug (pick Another Mission And Come Back To It) Is Minor.
Something That Stops People Being Able To Play Is As Major As It Gets, Even If It Is Only Affecting 30% Of Players - That's 30% Of Your Playerbase That Can't Enjoy Any Space Mission In The Whole Game!
Now Add To This The Fact That Any Team I (or Any Other Of That 30%) Am In Is Affected By Each 30 Seconds I Am Going Through Menus Instead Of Helping And That 30% Suddently Becomes Much Higher. You Too Have Been Greatly Affected By This Bug Without Even Knowing It.
typical Response By A "cryptic Defender". Blame It On The Players Hardware, And Not On The Broken Software. These Issues Weren't Present Pre-season 6, So Obviously Cryptic Broke Something In Season 6, And Have Yet To Resolve It.

I have several time experienced loss of quite valuable items being sent to me from other players and the exchange. Quite valuable ones. Disaster imo.

I know this has nothing to do with subject material at hand, but I wanted to know when are you all going to do more with the shuttles??? Are you going to bring more Shuttle types out??? Are you going to have more Shuttle events? I would reallly like to fly the Shuttle of Star Trek V, or the Shuttle from the First/second season of Star trek the Next Generation or the Voyager Shuttle??? Are you guys going to put out a Movie Bundle??? Like all the Bridges of the TOS movies as a pack???? I would like to See the TNG bundle pack also. What about Shuttle bays???? and Cargo bays??? whith the real doors though large doors that snap together...................Im like a kid at the toys store.........there is so much you can do.......I have plenty of IDEAS>>>>>>>JUST LET ME BE ON THE TEAM. I know everything there is to know about star Trek and what the fans want. AND this is to my FLEET YOU ARE the BEST TEAM IN THE QUADRANT LOVE YOU GUYS

Hopefully they have some other tweaks and fixes in there like the Armitage skin Type 6 bug fixed since they mention various tailor fixes and the skin being unselectable seems like a tailor issue. It is surprising since the Tribble patch had a lot of fixes and tweaks and this patch only seems to have the Honor Guard space set fixes from that patch.
I sure hope you just forgot (or are too ashamed of letting such a rediculously bad bug continue so long) to add it to the release notes, because this is getting far beyond a joke.
I have spent more time (most of the time already dead because of it) being forced to go through menus (when it lets me) then actually playing this month...

None of the listed fixes are even slightly close to the level of importance of this bug.
Why are you fixing combadges and capes when theres a whole group of players that CAN'T EVEN PLAY the game???? How the hell has this gone on for a month??? Any other MMO would have fixed this on release day in an emergency patch, or at the very least, the next day.
I guarantee this is costing you money and customers - I seriously doubt many people affected would put up with this as long as I have.
Whoever's job it is to prioritize these fixes and patches seriously needs to consider a new line of work.
Not sure what the game breaking you are referring to here... but couple things I noticed...
Camera Gets Set to Free Camera on each instance (or more often)... Work Around; Hot Key (under keybinds) that changes the camera to follow target (Default is 'x').
Camera Zoomed in all the way: Work Around; Hot Key (under keybinds) to zoom out (Dafault Key is 'End')
It's funny how most of you are complaining about the talor or camera problems. Who Cares !!! atleast you'll still be able to play the game right? i mean come on, if you really keep talking bad or complaining about the game then why are you ppl even playing it, yea sure i made some bug reprots but i still play it with bugs. why? because i like the game alot. Learn to use freecam.
Honestly I don't remember what camera I use, I think it's freecam, and I can play fine. Freecam is not game breaking, you can still play the game. It is just game breaking in your opinion because you don't use freecam. Again, my suggestion is to learn to use freecam. I use it (at least I'm pretty sure I do) and I'm not crippled in pvp.
Just a note, if you want them to fix a bug that makes things unplayable, they need to fix that bug that will auto warp you out of an STF. When that bugs rears its ugly head I get really mad because I spent several good minutes setting up the STF with my team.
And I realize it doens't make the game unplayable, just ruins our STFs.
I think Drozana bar dancers would be delighted with the broken tailor patch, but there are so many more important things what need to be fixed ASAP. Things you shoot with, or to defend with, not only to look at for Christ sake! Don't let me regret I've subscribed and ordered Zen to make more benefit out of playing STO.
I would say I'm a proponent for a long patch time IF it includes lot of well known bugs in one batch. How about choosing for a patch-time witch is not only comfortable for US-players, but also for majority of the EU-players?

Seen this one too... if you are in a private match, just make sure you announe the matchname (and if you use it) password to the team before starting... if someone gets bumped out, they can go to Join Existing, find your match and re-enter.
Again, its not a fix... but a work around... for the queued games, i know of no work around.

Happy about the tailor fix. Did that also bring back the button in the ship tailor for swapping windows, which then vanishes?
