Foundry needs to be back before we worry about rewards. Missions have been republished (with a few exceptions), but the editor is still off, and some missions will be in bad shape until the authors can get back in and fix things.

In any case, Cyrptic has shown it is unwilling to commit to any kind of timetable where the Foundry is concerned. You can ask, but I doubt you'll get anything more specific. Put up month calendars on your wall for each month left in the year, then take 12 darts and throw them all at once at the wall. The reward update might be close to one of those dates.

As far as the team goes, we are steadily switching gears from wrapping up Season 6 to beginning development on Season 7. Scheduled to be released towards the end of this year, our next big update will introduce a new Sector along with the continuation of one of our primary storylines.

What type of rewards do you think should be added to the foundry spotlight missions?

As a mission player: Let's use the existing Investigate Officer Reports Dailty as a baseline,
1.) Reward box, Random rare/very rare item with a chance of MKXII for level 50's.
2.) Dilithium Box, this one is harder to gauge, the regular reward is 1440 for doing 3 missions. These missions can be "short" thou, and may only take you 15minutes or less to complete or less, some 3 may only take seconds . The Spotlighted missions are of "exceptional" quality however, and was selected because of it's outstanding contents, not for how quick it is to get done. So I think 1440 Dil for the player may be not enough. The Pi Canis Sorties plus Way of the Warrior can earn you over 4000 dilithium in 30 minutes. So if our selected Spotlight time, most likely, exceeds the 30 minute time, then the 4000 is our new baseline. So 4000+ Dilithium.

As a mission creator: It's a bit harder to figure out.

Yes, it says S7 is coming out "towards the end of the year". However it says the foundry spotlight rewards are coming "well before Season 7 launches". So how long is "well before"?

All I know is the spotlight rewards better be worth the time it takes to play the mission. Those missions are pretty long compared to a lot of others in game, so the rewards should be proportionate.
