Im a Cheif Officer in my fleet, and yet I cant select or start fleet projects. yet the Senior officers, which are below CO can see and start projects. near the start of season 6 I could but now I cant, any open slots are greyed out, also I have 106,000 fleet creds but on the leaderboards I only have 93,000. Any help?

The rank you are set to must have the permission to manage fleet holdings selected, otherwise you can not see it. It is possible that the Fleet Leader can give it to a lower rank than the one you are set to. You would need to reach out to your Fleet Leader, or a fleet member of a rank that can set permissions, for support.

    Cheers,

There is a option in settings called Manage Fleet Projects or something like that. If your rank doesn't have the option selected, then you can't select which project to do next. If you are the top rank, then I would wonder why it was deselected. If you are not, then I would ask the leaders why your rank is not included with Fleet Project Management when lower ranks are allowed to.

For the mismatching Fleet Credits, have you used any of the Fleet Credit Bonus Pools? Leaderboards only include the actual reward of Fleet Credits for contributions while your Fleet Credits includes the bonus from the Fleet Credit Bonus Pool and the actual reward of Fleet Credits.

Brandon, please pass along the idea that everyone in the fleet can see the projects that are next in queue even if only those who manage fleet holdings can actually change them. People find it frustrating not knowing what is up next until its active.

That would be nice. All the officers have 500-800k credits, everyone else has 80k and below because we do not know what is going to be needed. Over 50 do not even have 1K. Really bad system as it truly allows the 1% to get all the credits.

I would be cautious as to draw this conclusion. We only have 3 members in our fleet that have permission to see/set the next project. The 3 (myself included in that number) are not at the top of the leaderboard. I, myself, have less than half of the credits than the top person on the board, and the other 2 have less than me.

If you look at the projects, the 2 things that really give you credits are dilithium and marks. Everything else is pretty much peanuts. (Personally, I think doffs should be worth a lot more). I can donate the entire amount of expertise and get less than 1000 credits. Same with all the commodities. I think 1 commodity gives something like 4 credits. Doffs give 150 credits each. But as you can only donate 1 at a time, most people should have time to be able to donate when a new project is started. If you look at a project that uses 12 doffs, that's less than 2000 credits - peanuts compared to the several hundred thousand credits that some people have.

If you look at the projects, the only things that are different are the doffs, commodities, data samples, etc which aren't the huge credit givers. The things that are CONSISTENT in every project is that they all require marks, and most require dilithium. The people at the top of the leaderboard are contributing mostly these 2 things.

TL DR, knowing what is coming next doesn't necessarily mean it gives you an advantage in gaining fleet credits. (What it does help, though, is in gathering the necessary doffs ahead of time so the project doesn't stall)

The prices for the system were based on 100 EC = 1 Fleet Credit. Since white departmental doffs are 150 EC this was based on the pre-Season 6 price of 15,000 EC -- however, since they still haven't added the doff-downgrader prices have spiked to over 100,000 EC a piece.
