So ya, I found a little surprise in the Fleet SB

So I was in the turbolift on my way back from the Military/Tac lvl to OPs when something strange happened, I fell through the floor. This is what I found hidden inside our base.

As you can see when I look up its under OPs.

I only had a few seconds since I was in a Fleet queue with Fleet members, but it took my breath away. Can't wait to see what Special Project unlocks this.

    Wow on that first set, do NOT duel an enemy dahar master there. It may seem like a good idea at the time, but its a good way to lose a hand.

    lol, a bunch of shuttles and 2 Heavy Escort Carriers parked at our base, why don't 'they' help out when the base is under attack :p

    A friend in my fleet was joking this is why our base fires those torp spreads.

    And yeah, awesome stuff!!! See, this is what makes me so torn about Season 6. LOVE the new content, and I don't mind grinding for it, but I am terrified by the money grabs I see going on and am afraid that PWE will bring the Chinese-F2P-game-model I've seen before to STO--build up a gamer base, rip it off, then let the game die. Hopefully this game is too big and too good for that to happen, but we'll see!

    So guess the next Limited Time Starbase Project unlocks Darth Vader, and tells us he's our father before we fall into the depths of the starbase? ;)

    I used Demo record (and the associated viewer that I found here on the forums) The Klingon Starbase has nothing under it.

    As for the Federation base... Im really interested to know what this is... using demo record, you can move the camera down there without having to fall, and see several Type 8 shuttles and 2 Armitages doeck with the Starbase... very interesting. Very Cloud City...

    Aside from the Cloud City aspect, my guess is that they are the Starbase's shuttlebay / loading dock. And the starships either is a prototype of a player shipyard (similar to ESD), a docking area (like in Star Trek 3), or a lounge area (which was something that was being worked out with the original ESD).

    I'm guessing there are some missing walls here, but over all I'm liking what I'm seeing and future projects worth the 200k Dilithium.

    Weird - I was wondering what they were going to do with the OLD login screen assets...I guess there they are, albeit recycled.

    Hmm so it's got the walkways from The Facility in the Dominion FE.

    Looks nice but it'll need something there to use to be more than just eye candy. I'd love a ground combat dueling arena to go there, complete with the ability to knock people off the platforms (brings back memories of Jedi Knight 2 and Jedi Academy).

    I think everyone is looking at these wrong.

    OMG. SO TRUE. I loved the dual of the fates modmaps from those games.

    I just glanced around. No walls.

    Still, looks unfinished.

    My guess is that the ships and landing pads will be moved up to the top level of the station due to a project or will get a more finished look if we go down there.

    This happened to me on a fed base on Tribble there was nothing below the base. However it was funny being able to see everyone walk around it.

    Anyone else having horrible graphical glitches at their SBs?

    On a side note anyone have any clue why my signature is not displaying on the forum but it shows up in my CP

    Opening a lockbox is like using a public restroom when u gotta poo.
    You are just hoping nobody blew on the seat or that all the toilet paper is gone.
