Todays Patch srcrewed up Login system again.

After Patch today getting the message of Invalid user name or password again. Seems like same issue that hit us a month or two ago. Went onto the STO site to reset my cryptic password and fine out I now had to setup a Perfect world account to asscess anything, so created it and now I can asscess my STO account under the Perfect world login which solved my issue. PROBLEM i have with this, where was the email from Perfect world saying they were phasing out Cryptic loggin system. :mad: Been with game since day one and upper management of this game serive is getting worse with every passing month. EMAIL US ABOUT IMPORTANT SYSTEM CHANGES PLEASE!!!!!!!

    I guess you have not been playing for a while. That transition took place a few weeks ago.
    STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

    I have been on everyday for the last week. Was on just before the server went down today only had the problem after the patch???

    Just tried and the Cryptic login is still working for me, so either they fixed it or its intermittent.

    (To the smart ar$es out there - yes, I know you have to have a PWE account to post on the forums, so my posting here indicates I have one but I still have an unconverted Cryptic account that I can log into the game with.)

    Here before PWE (and hopefully) here long after PWE is gone.

    What this game needs is PvP, NOT PWE.

    Don't worry you're not the only one. I had to switch over to PWE to log into the game.

    At least you can play the damn game. I've had nothing but problems SINCE the patch. At first it seem fine. I logged in and was gonna go to ESD to unload my inventory and when I clicked on transwarp that's when it went to Hell. It froze on me and then I couldn't get it started again. Tried to reboot and when I went to log in again all it does is just sit there waiting on my characters to load. They load but my character doesn't show up and all it does is sit there. I have tried logging out (won't log off properly) so I had to ctrl alt del several times already. I try logging in again and it does the same damn thing. So it's not logging in issues I am having but getting the damn game to load PROPERLY. Fix it!!

    i also couldn't login but when i tried to link my accounts it said it already was. but its not so i am **** out of luck. hope support gets back to me soon :mad:

    I swopped to PWE a few weeks ago,not had a single problem since,just saying.

    Hope you guys get it fixed soon.

    Just tried logging in again and it still shows the same damn thing. A list of my characters and on the side where it shows the one you are currently using is blank. On the the bottom however, it shows who my officer is and where but that's all its doing. This is shizer. I and all the other people who have put forth the time and effort and in some cases, MONEY so PWE(SIC) can continue to create better content for this and their many other games so that we can enjoy ourselves should not have this or any problem logging into or linking accounts. And do not tell me I have to link my accounts because I have had only one account and it has been with PWE since the game went f2p.

    Keep in mind that account names are now case sensitive - as it states on the launcher. If you're not putting the capitals in the correct spots it won't log you in.

    now there is there wasn't one a few hours ago.

    on a side note i tried login in to many times and it tell me i have to wait. does anyone know how long i have to wait. :rolleyes: lol

    I love how Cryptic/PWE can manage to make the login Case Sensitive now, but not manage to fix the login to remember your new login instead of the Cryptic Login that no longer works
